To me it looks like a classic anime / action movie dodge to the side from running (and being able to get a firing position at the same time, because reasons). Don't read too much into it. It's supposed to look cool and actioney. Kind like this running pose, but "I noticed a threat and I'm not committing forwards anymore, instead dodging to the side and bringing a rifle up".
I know, now it's hit me. Took me a moment 'cause I don't watch US football. What she's doing is a juke. That's what I saw as a "running dodge" kinda move.
I was thinking more sideways dive, like the Hot Fuzz "Dive through the air while shooting two guns" but with a longarm.
Well, yeah, there's a lot of Hong Kong action movie in the pose as well. Just gotta accept it as a "cool flashy action move", like I said.
Anyone have an idea what Old School Spitfire will work as a weapon swap for her? I don't run the new fangled Spitfires. Maybe do MR+LFT from the Brigada as the basis of a weapon swap...
Hard to tell without actually holding the miniature, but maybe Prowler spitfire for arm swap? Wrist position looks similar, although Kusanagi has much thinner and longer arms.
As far as I could check new scale females use the same weapon scale as old scale males. The main issue will be the old spitfire's buttstock is massive compared to the new nomad weapons' buttstocks which will cause the most issues in Kusanagi's pose
The rock looks like something not from this miniature. The rock annoys me a little... The rock. It’s an only problem here.
I've a feeling the rock is structural rather than aesthetic, you could probably Reinforce the leg with a pin and remove the rock. Edit: You might also be able to replace it with a short transparent plastic rod
