Good Morning, This is a niche question and unlikely has significant effect on the game. However my question is thus. To set the scene I have a Bolt haris as indicated in the image below. 1. The Trauma Doc dies - Pal Bot becomes disconnected. 2. Machinist drops from the link (he'd likely stay with the link but just roll with me here for the sake of this) and engineers the palbot to clear the disconnected state from the Pal Bot. What happens to the Pal Bot from here on? 1. Is the Machinist able to synch with the Palbot and get it back into service? 2. The Palbot again checks for coherency and thus falls into disconnected state again?
2. As there are no rules that allow for "taking over" a Palbot. Once the controller is killed the peripherals become pretty useless.
You assign the bots at the start of the game. You cannot REASSIGN those palbots to anyone else. Regardless of circumstances.
