No way they go plastic. Aristeia-like PVC, that cannot be filed at best (Besides they worked with these chinese contractors before).
The best thing about CB using Kickstarter is they won't have to waste too much money if the project fails and we will be able to see their idea soon and than decide if it is worth our cash as defiance did :)
I know everyone has their own personal preferences but jesus do I find this fucking ugly. I'm sorry CB, I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, I'm sure there were several possible routes for these and I'm certain it was a close tie but maybe you guys should also pull the player base to see what they would want to field. I wanted new sculpts and now after seeing this O have to ask my self, which do I have to make the least amount of changes to with greenstuff and other model parts like from a Aleph or some other game. The screen for a face part is the worst part. A murder bot in humanoid form is gonna be making emojis? In made more sense to go the GitS route with the Geisha way more. I honestly would rather wait 6 more months for you guys to redo the head to have an actual face. Will other player be willing to help put together a pill or petition to have the faces changed before the actually mass produce these things? We still have a little bit of time. I think the majority of people would prefer just an update to the old design right? That's exactly it. CB is catering to the modern anime fan. I strongly doubt 150 years from Japanese culture will be based on anime. I believe manga and anime was an out for Japan to not be depressed after the US raped their country (war brides and treasure, I'm not actually blaming anyone as it's completely natural). I'm a totally hugely afraid for the Oyoroi, Kitsune and Oyama now. Kitsune does not need huge boobs or pink hair, Oyama does not need any cat features aside from 9 lives and the Oyori does not need to based on any pop culture references from the last 20 years over historical cultural myth and and warfare that lasted a thousand years.
they're based on their namesake...karakuri...not bunraku puppets which are a different thing... I'm hoping for alt sculpts from the KS so hope oyoroi custom tengu or sun hat skin can come and appease both audiences
the entire game is basically a homebrew anime rpg spin off...so it's kind of the whole point of the product line...

People idolize samurai and ninja still. No body idolizes school girls. Some people wanna fuck cartoon school girls, and those people are sick, and I wish CB wasn't thinking that was the right crowd to market to, there's enough "sexy" and "kaeaii" in the game and the Geisha theme could have done it in a better more mature way, being hella honest. There are totally admirable qualities about geisha, they were educated, talented weren't high end prostitutes and some weren't Geisha but assassins and bodyguards... So Geishabots being multi faceted makes sense in this game. Cute bots just strikes me so much more as a Nomad thing than anything we've seen in JSA so far, it creates a disruption in the uniform style a cross the faction that we had seen and honestly I think every appreciate the ancient Japanese style married with tech. Also, there is a thread about this in the JSA forum, of which I'm gonna keep the rest of my comments over there if you care to join.

Already confirmed as N4 compatible scale, so the TAGs we already own will likely work in TAG-Raid, and TAG-Raid TAGs will work in N4. Though I expect there to be some Megalodron style megaTAGs that won't get ITS rules.

Plastic or PVC please. I really wanted to get Defiance, but the cost was just too much, and postage on a whole box of metal TAGS would be insane. Also please have some kind of team or co-op mode as a stretch goal. I don't play Infinity any more (no time), but what got me in was the TAGS.
Metal or true (GW style plastic), PVC is gonna be a real turn off. Megalodron has few issues, but that's a pet project - I won't trust large sets of minis like Aristeia in that material.
just think of the sheer weight of this game if the minis are metal, man. even if it is only, say 4-6 models, that's still going to make this game heavy as balls just to carry around. I can't say I like the idea of metal models here.
Yeah I guess PVC models might look a bit inferior next to existing metal ones. I stand corrected. GW style plastic please.
