What's wrong with the fireteam rules?

What 8 years? lol. Joking. I hope that's right but I really don't understand why you made us wait over a year for a one of two core fireteams. If it wasn't for proxy rules, the faction is literally unplayable. Thanks for the tease though.

The only major issue I have with fireteams is the 4-man bonus turning everyone into a Jedi who can shoot backwards through smoke with no penalty.

The Vostok reminds me of a BattleTech marauder and I love it!

I just wonder if the Muhktar/Shaolin are blisters or boxes. Both seem to be blisters when they really should be boxes.

Shaolin is the first shown from a box, they didnt say either way for the Muhktar but as we already have one in a blister I'm assuming this is a second booster.

Fantastic about the Shaolin! If that is true about the Muhktar, what a shame.

Well, the logic that guides CB to release blisters months or even years apart, when they could've released a box (reducing the CRU growth problem) is keeping to escape me.

    For years.

I mean - Muktars make for a fine example. They're AVA 4, linkable in RTF. There are 5 loadouts:
    • Viral Rifle
    • BSG / Doctor
    • Rifle+LSG Forward Observer (w/ D-charges)
    • Rifle+LSG Hacker (w/ D-charges)
    • Red Fury.
Basically begging to be done into a box of 4:
    • Doctor
    • Red Fury
    • rifleman w/ D-charges (Hacker / FO as needed)
    • Viral rifleman / universal proxy pose.
But no, they got us the Doc about a year ago, now doing the Hacker (a great mini!), and probably will have us wait for the rifleman and Red Fury for another two years...

Asawira have exactly the same problem. They are AVA 4, linkable in HB. Sure, there are more profiles, but only 3 firearm options: AP Spitfire (might be Lt), BSG (migh be a Doc) and AP Rifle (might be Lt, Doc, or 2 Rifleman variants, differing only on the CCW type). Make a box of 4:
    • AP Spitfire
    • AP Rifle
    • BSG
    • universal proxy pose (w/CCW), or Doc (CCW & Medkit).
Which is what I did, using the 2 original (2ed) Asawira sculpts. But no, they have resculpted the Spitfire loadout, and that was that...

    Sorry for the rant :flushed:

Maybe it's not a blister and is actually 1 of 4? I can understand the Monk being a blister since now people tend to only take one or two warband. I of course just painted my old ones :joy: so it will probably be a box.

Mostly. I think they made slight changes since then.

At this point, the minimum thing I want is them to get rid of Sixth sense for them. There's so little vanilla can do against them right now. I played vanilla on the weekend and couldn't do anything against them.

With the Monk, that may be the case.
With Muktar, I'm 99,9% sure it is not - as I've mentioned, the Doc BSG loadout was released as a blister last year.

But the rest could be the Viral Rifle, Red fury, FO Rifle-LSG, and then the Hacker. But yeah they seem to always be contrary to what people actually want. Like who even uses anything other than the Red Fury? But that hacker looks cool and will be a proxy in a lot of armies I think.

    Well, that's your 0,01% chance ;)

As for fielding anything but Red Fury, I dunno. I believe I did.
...then the pandemic came, and I frankly stopped fielding anything most of the time... :(

They wouldn't make the TAGs bigger. They said they'd have stuff bigger than TAGs.

We get fireteam updates with the first expansion on the last two editions I think the same thing will happen with the 4th edition, and I doubt much will change since the scale of the game is not changing.

He may have just meant the MO fire team list. That did change.
