As I understand it. The Crosiers are not connected to any orders. They are connected to the church directly while the orders have more autonomy.

Disappointed that the new models for Trinitarians are so boring looking. They look well sculpted of course, but the design is just so dull compared to the previous Order Sergeants (which were always one of my favorite looking units from N2). Really, that's my complaint about the Crosiers too. nice models, but design wise they seem like a real step down to me.

Not a problem really, the knights are the shiny ones and it is good to emphasise them. You want a bit of dull and not everything tuning the cool factor to the max (in my book at least)

I actually really liked the dossier, but not so much the sculpt. Looks too chunky, which quite a few of the sculpts did.

I've seen it talked about on the forums occasionally that there's something in the rendering/sculpting process that makes the renders look a bit chunkier than the eventual sculpts. So that chunkiness may be a side effect of the render that doesn't come across in the final sculpt.

You have to understand the renders take into account the inevitable shrinkage the actual models will have.

Yeah, miniatures shrink during printing, master creation, mould creation, and final casting so they often look pretty bulky in the renders.

I love the new Trinirinitarians, I hugely prefer a badass Longcoat to a fusilier with a helmet and a tea towel stuck in his belt. I am a sucker for some stylish outerwear though.

If CB ever released a line of good quality outerwear based on some of their miniatures I'd be tempted to move to a country with Winters again!

Honestly, to me the coat looks more like a bathrobe than 'badass'. It also makes the model look like it belongs to a different sectorial, or even a different faction. I'm always happy to see new designs, but this model doesn't really even look like a PanO unit. If I saw it in the wild without any context I'd guess it was a mercenary unit with a PanO rifle. It doesn't match anything else in MO. The previous models were the core of the MO aesthetic. Tabards and helmets with traditional Pan) armor. This one has wildly different armor, no helmet and a coat that doesn't match with anything else in the sectorial.

I also really don't care for the new style TO pattern. I liked the old hexes far more

The whole design is a big miss for me. Thankfully I still like the old Order Sergeant models.

The head is really nice though. And of course the sculpting detail is as good as always.

If by that you mean they released jackets with built in coats that resemble KoJ armor. I would 100% buy that. I'd wear that in 100 degree weather too

But the actual coat is plain flat.

Some parts of sleeves have TO.

But man that pose with that head/weapon is not looking good. It's really sad that humble hero of MO got so bad model ;/

I'm not loving the pose either, but I do like the head. Its a nice face.

The new Teotons are great though! I didn't think I'd buy them since I already have the recent Magister box, plus both the old Teutons and all the old Magisters, and I love all those. Now I'll end up with 3 more (because we all know it will be 3 models plus a tinbot), and I'm not sure what to do with 14 Teutons.

There's some of the TO pattern on the coat too, on the chest. I agree on the pose, though. Not keen.
