Anything that gets more legal models for White Banner gets a double thumbs up from me. My group plays no proxies, if it has a weapon on the model the profile should have that weapon too, so White Banner currently is a real mess to play.
That sounds like a nightmare way to play Infinity. Especially considering the game is super pro-proxy.
There are occasional problems, but we are all in the same boat if you want some of the newer options. Also means my lists aren’t very on meta, no Shang Jesus means I’m usually taking Jeong, Tai or a Haido for those roles. Game still works and we have a good time.

I don't mind YJ not having pitchers if we continue to be positioned as a strong "defensive" hacking faction with minelaying DepReps and -6 tinbots. Sectorial-specific profiles would be very cool. Bring back the Tiger Sniper?
Because for balance reasons not everyone gets everything, which makes the game dynamic more interesting. With that said in the edition of multiple BS19 MSV1 snipers that can see through smoke I am feeling like Vanilla could use a few alternatives given that they don't have the link bonuses to attempt to brute force that.
The Hac tao has fairly similar odds than your run-of-the-mill shang-jisus in core against Bolt/grenzer sniper. Not very good odds, that is. The only units I've find who could reach satisfying odds against those are the cutter, avatar and buffed vostok MK12 in core. Better stick to skirmish and coordinated orders for yu-jing.
Eclipse on Jing is a good idea that would make her stand out. I was also thinking maybe wildcard + strategic deployment
We do have albedo on Lei Gong at least, maybe they just give us another albedo unit instead of White Noise/eclipse?
I wish he'd go back to where he came from. Sectorials with heaps of capacity gaps + Lei Gong as a bandaid is bad enough design that we don't need it twice.
