Wasn't talking about the AP HMG, was referring to the color code for the CCWs. DA(EXP) is Blue (various Fatherknights, Joans, Seraph, Santiago and KothS). Yellow is Monofilament (Infirmarer and now Knight Commander) AP would be red (Swiss Zweihänder and old Hospitalers/Magisters - pretty low/outdated sample size) Yes Shock is green then (had the Black Friar filed as AP CCW in my head for some reason, which is wrong. Old Montesa was green as well, definitely a Shock CCW back then on the MechDeploy Profile.) Hospitalers got their CCWs unified to all DAs after the current models got released.unified after the Also doesn't matter, confirmed fake by Koni.
I like the models. With the exception of Sepulchre's legs - they look like they're from a different army than the upper half of the mini, and we've had the same issue before with the Boyg. And Infirmarer banner bearer is a hard pass for me. The winners for me are: Montesa (motocross helmet does look weird, but this can be either painted to make it less distinct, or, with some care, replaced with a different head. It would be great if this one was a separate part. KoJ Spitfire - now that's a good-looking HI mini, and finally something that doesn't wave its sword around awkwardly, like the previous FK Spitfire, Santiago is good as well - old Spitfire continues to be one of my favourite models, but this new helmet design looks nice, and as others have said, the pose tells a story here. Knight Commander looks nice as well, this model sells the pose better than Fusiler ML, and that mini was good regardless.
I wish the sepulcher sub arms weren't attached to the torso, now I gotta cut them off as opposed to not put them on
Wait, if that's right, then we shouldn't expect the Knight Commander to be cheap. Actually, I'd expect him to be at least as expensive as the notorious Infirmarer, and will likely use his Monofilament CCW just as often (as in: never). Having Knight Commander as LI instead of HI is already kind of weird for a sectorial that had the theme "Only HI Knights can be Lieutenants" going for a couple of years already - which everyone reluctantly accepted after Fusilier Lt for 10 pt went away. However, adding useless equipment can actually bury the unit regardless of how good the miniature looks. I still hope that there would be some meaning behind this, like Knight Commander actually being capable at CC, not stuck in the dead zone of CC15-20, which already makes units like Order Sergeants and Infirmarers more expensive than they should be, for basically no reason at all. In the current situation, more overcosted expensive stuff isn't something MO needs, at all. TLDR: 1. Knight Commander should either have Mono CCW AND some worthy CC skills (natural born Warrior would be amazing against infiltrator assassins, for example) 2. OR Mono CCW shouldn't be there at all (or, should cost nothing for the unit points cost) It's like a Chekhov Gun - if you put an exotic CCW on a unit, it has to be reasonably usable.
If it has cc 21 and ma 2 it makes it a difficult proposition for assassins, specially if it gets holo echos to hide or sixth sense to ignore their surprise attack
Honestly, mid twenties for a LT that can fend off assassins and probably has some interesting command skills feels just about right (and will be a welcome addition to panoceania as a whole).
