just to make sure for an upcoming game, does TI negate character skills such as BS attack (AP/shock/ continuous damage)?

Yes, why not? The part ignored by Immunity (Total) is, well, ignored.

As tox said. Immunity (Total) doesn't say that it's immune to Ammunition and Traits listed on weapons, just that it's immune to Ammunition and Traits.

For the sake of completion: would TI be immune to BS Attack (+1 Dam) or BS Attack (Guided) as well?

Neither of those are Ammunition types, or ' Traits that cause States, refer to causing Damage, or reduce the Attributes of the target'.

So no, Immunity (Total) is not going to interact with them in any way.

In regard to total immunity vs arm or bts in N4 it does not change the attribute which is signalled to resist with by the weapon, right? That's what bio immunity as a separate skill is for?

So if say a dog warrior has to save against a plasma rifle, he would have to do an arm roll with his arm of 3 and a bts roll with his bts of zero?
If both go wrong, he would lose 2 wounds?

he got to roll both a arm and bts vs plasma, as its no longer an ammo type or a trait (had so many arguments about it, its been clarified in the faq )
