An active turn piece with ap hmg ,visual mod and s5 would have it's own niche as a solo operative at a competitive cost vs the tik. Most of MOs offensive pieces are linkable or operate best IN a link. The Boygs issue is half the time if you want what he does you take a KoJ and do it better
HellLois: "We are going to re-adapt them"... "They will get a new profile, but not as Magister Knights"
I'm quite convinced it's going to be very useful as an option for long range gunfights even without something like visual mods in MO, if he's not super bloated with melee. BS 15, NWI, +1B, really any of these would make him work really well, especially with solid doctor options of MO. But another Red Fury and melee focus such as the one Kiel San has would be useless for MO and probably PanO in general. So, I'm really happy it's an AP HMG and not a Feuerbach or a Spitfire.
Personally I wouldn't mind if the Knight of the Holy Sepulchre was unchanged apart from ditching Holomask and picking up ARM 6 and NWI. "We are trying to make a human as tough as possible" seems like a good reason for a PanO S5 to me.
It would be great if Magisters don't change too much. This is actually a perfect edition for them... Super Dodging, Shotgun templates, panzerfaust/missiles, MA2 are all really nice. The only thing missing is the N4 Heavy Infantry discount, which (for whatever reason) they didn't get.
We've started to get nice things since about when Hell "Not actually a Carlos" Lois was hired, finally a voice on the design team!
Stealth, for the love of God please stealth. If they get stealth I don't even care about not getting 6-2
Oh don't get me wrong I still think that peak PanO feel is Varuna (they way it implements "superior design and equipment" into actual tools), and it was really refreshing . Im just, well sceptical/careful when it comes to MO, especially if the main workhorse of it is subjected to removal/big change.
N3 Varuna definitely had that clarity of unique design and engaging tools. But most of their units didn't age well into N4. I'm hoping someone has a similar clarity of vision for designing MO.
laugh in Tanko sigh can't believe magister are gone, I've wait all N4 for CB to fix he cost ... .. instead we getting a S5 rofl anyway when you give stealth to joan heavy and NOT to joan mobility profile you can't expect any clarity of vision for MO tbh
So um, what does exactly 'Coadjutor Crosiers' mean? We're trying to translate it into Korean, but guess we don't know pretty much about its origins it spells like 'Guy who brandishes the scepter of cross', and it's pretty hilarious. Any ideas about their cultural / military origin? It would help greatly.
They are basically assistants to Bishops, or cross bearers, or bearers of the Bishops stave, depending on context and historical period. There's a lot of speculation that they will replace Order Sergeants, but as the Order Sergeant box isn't going OOP I don't think that's the case and we may have something like the Kamau to the Fusiliers in Varuna with the Coadjutor Crosiers as the Elite Light Infantry while the Order Sergeants are the base line unit.
yeah... not gonna happen, looking at other units that had MA/CAMO (with some exceptions). Heck, even TAGs that had marker state lost stealth. I think it's intended, to cheapen the unit cost, and also to increase effectiveness of hackers.
I'm expecting MO to shift from focus on HI links towards a more varied sectorial. We might only have 3 HI models in the new pack. Knight Commander sounds like something with LT2 or CoC
