Hello world, I’ve been playing Infinity since 11 years with my gaming group. Last year I bought some Yu Jing second hand and started painting them. I soon fell in love with the design of the Heavy Infantry and so I did what every reasonable person would do. I bought some more. My first two guys as a test how the colors would turn out: So far i liked the yellow. The bases are printed and designed by me. I wanted a city base with a sidewalk to prevent all these useless tactical rocks. My favorite YJ miniature had the worst tactical rock: the Zencha Hacker. The last for now are a box of WuMing. I love the sculpts but I wanted them to look different. They are unworthy to wear the holy colors of the empire. So they had to be red. Red like these treacherous JSAs. I imagine them to be the family members of JSA Insurgents who are now disfranchised citizens. So now excuse me gentlemen. I have to paint. Until next time.
Looking good! Those are some great dirty yellows. I've been painting way too many yellow Nomads and appreciate what that takes; this is good work.

Once in a while you get reminded that while Infinity is not grimdark it's not sunshine and lollipops either
@Dhark that is really well-done, and also pretty effed up. :) The fine wires are great! You might want to put this in the conversion thread too. Not only is the wire work cool, but conversions that help people escape terminal TacitcalRockAtitis are always appreciated.
Thank you very much. I think Infinity is a very cruel setting and especially YuJing is an especially atrocious empire (e.g. WuMing and Kuang Shi). I would love to see more Grimdark influences in infinity. A lot of paint jobs and conversations are way to clean and positive for my taste. So whats next? I am lucky to own two Guijias (Duo Guijia ftw!) so I wanted to convert my first one to a former JSA TAG. It's background: The pilot was a formidable O-Yoroi pilot back in the days when the JSA was loyal to the empire. As soon as the accursed treason happened all Traitors and their family members were stripped of their ranks and put into Wu Ming penal camps. This pilot became the chance to redeem herself (to death) in the service as a Wu Ming TAG pilot. And the essence of the story: Stay loyal citizens!
I figured i need some generic drones for several lists so I painted three. Not my best job but I hope the Gundam decals add some detail. Not to fancy but it gets the job done :) With a banana colored guy for scale: Until next time and stay yellow.
That is a formidable Guija conversion - and a very nice paintjob. May I ask from what have you made it?
Thank you very much. Actually it was quite easy since the Guijia is rather comfortable to convert. I cut the arms at the joints, pinned them and reposed them. The Katana and the helmet was cut from plastic card. I have a picture of the primed Guijia: I finished another yellow fellow with a pet bot: I use both as proxies. I love the Kanren miniature but I don’t find him very useful. So he will be a Daoying. The bot is going to be an Tinbot or a Crazy Koalay. That’s all for today. Until next time.
