    Heya all, I don't get to play as much as I'd like, so when building a new army I prefer to start from an established list or draw from established lists. Saves on games where I bring something terrible and get rolled (inb4 INYLIY). Exact opposite to what I preferred to do back in the day but gotta be pragmatic here.

    So just wondering, what are people taking in FoCo at the moment? I'm seeing them as a fusion of what I like in Nomads (Zero, Uberfall mostly), access to a tohaa-triad style haris of Senor Massacre+friends, and a varuna style heavy duty ARO in the form of the bolt MSR. But I'm wondering is there anything else cool in this sectorial that I've missed?

    Really wish I could contribute but I just got my for co stuff during lock down and haven't even been able to play n4 never mind get my new toys on the table so this is a topic I am interested in. Fire teams with orcs and bolts and characters tho seem popular. A Harris with valkyre included or a Harris with wild bill and avicenna seem popular too. Uberfalls and kriza seem well regarded as well as zeros. Are all things people have mentioned to me when speaking about for co .but not practical experience. Also iguanas apparently not strong in this sectorial as too ££ so leaves you short in other departments as troops expensive in this sectorial

    Here is something I have been working on

    g4sPZm9yZWlnbi1jb21wYW55CVdpcCBmb3Jjb4EsAgEJAQQBCgACgc4BAQADBQEIAASB6wEBAAWFQAEBAAYEAQUAB4GRAQcACA0BBgAJMgEBAAIGATIBAQACgaYBBAADegEEAASBkQEGAAUTAQEABiYBAQA=

    You can change out the croc man for a boarding shotgun orc with tin bot for more redundancies and to help protect laxmee or even an akalis with spitfire if you get rid of minelayer,
    Bolts will do most of the shooting in this list, so you can strip down to two three man teams if you like, with bolts ignoring cover your still as good at shooting as most other teams, chimera in second group has possibly 7 orders so if someone docks two orders from you its a harder choice with 9 in group 1 or 7 chimera orders each with specialists your not losing out on much.

    Working on a kriza list next but i can never get that exactly how I want it,

    I usually take a Core link of 3 Bolts and a Haris of 3 Kaplan. add some combat remotes, Uberfall, CSUs and Zeros.
    OR
    Iguana, haris link of Bolts (maybe with Valkyrie) and a full core of Securitate and CSUs. Then add clockmakers, zeros and remotes to taste

    Thats a couple of people going with two 3 man links instead of full core how do you find them against defensive fireteams

    Forco has access to eclipse smoke so honestly if the defensive link team is just a msv2 multisniper and four other guys ill ignore it and move around smoke, maybe deal with it turn two, if i think i can get to the team turn one with plenty of orders left over for a shootout in good rangebands ill deal with them, weakest member first if possible,

    Coming from NCA and not having been able to game with for co yet I forget about smoke and eclipse shenanigans haha very good point I'm probably over thinking how difficult it would be to take down the defensive link when I have different tools. With pano usually brute force them with Swiss guard or my own link team etc. But obviously have different tricks in other armies I need to learn and lean into

    I've been looking at something like this as a core army idea to modify based on scenario. Would appreciate any feedback;

    A castle link with a Bolt MSV Kamau-wannabe, excellent healer, Orc HMG for pushing in later turns (its too expensive to be a pure castle), CoC support for the Haris and Laxmee mostly because I'm trying to force hackers.

    An offensive Haris based around my experience with Tohaa - specialist, smoke/melee guy and pointman is a damn good combination.

    Chimera the alternative attack option. I feel that this and the haris in the same army are possibly a mistake, so could be swapped out and replace the haris in a second list. Fills similar role of aggressive/smoke option, but plays very differently in what it wants to attack.

    Zero is the mandatory hyper-efficient button pusher who helps support Laxmee and make use of repeaters.

    Group two is ablative ARO pieces and the Fugazi which is part defense and part replacement order for the main group. My lists that include the Haris typically cannot afford anything good in the second group.

    I played this list in Aquisition and it works pretty well. But differently than one would expect: my opponent had Jan Staar and instead of using him to block my poorly deployed fireteam he went against the missile remote.
    The combat groups are designed in order to conceal the Croc Man in group 2 and the plan for the Firteam is to use it in a jack-of-all-trades manner

    I'm playing capture and protect tomorrow first game of n4 , first time using for co vs my brother again first n4 and he will be using tohaa or spiral for the 1st time came up with this

    g4sPZm9yZWlnbi1jb21wYW55DENhcCBwcm90ZWMgM4EsAgEIAYGmAQQAAoHOAQIAA4VBAQQABAQBCQAFBQEDAAaFQAEBAAcSAQEACBMBAQACBQGBkQEGAAKBkQEEAAMRAQEABCQBAgAFEAEBAA==

    Idea to use pitchers to get some repeater coverage and eclipse up the board to take the objective get some targeted try and take out the threats while leaving some defense in to cover the home objective
