While maybe not a full fledged HI has anyone tried Wolfgang? With 2W, PH14, and ARM 3 he's got HI-ish survivability. While he's only BS12 the extra burst on his MR plus Fireteam bonuses looks pretty tasty, not hackable is also a plus.
Wolfgang is awesome. He is probably one of the best one-dice CC specialists that is just a little bit short of becoming legendary. Had he received NBW he would've been in the top-tier league because combining MA with PARA CCW (-6) is no joke and then in the active turn you just wallop the glued enemy with Berserk. Also, he dodges on 17s for 4". So even disregarding the link bonuses he's got a kit for survivability and CC engagement, and a B4 MULTI Rifle is pretty cool.
We're more than a year on and still no sign of a doorkicker other than Kickstarter minis from a crossover game. Would settle for Al'Fasid or Azra'il in my Druze just to have a true HI...
