It's cool they're doing a Salvora and Kaldstrom expansion, I wonder if they'll do a Operation:2021 expansion faster too. It doesn't say anything about extra tokens though, so I guess they won't come with any. Was hoping they'd use the chance to get some of the less common tokens printed.
Long time until march ... and a tiny little bit of hope appares that the booster packs will contain some useful units for WB and SWF .... but wait, Gunnar and Jing Qo have only one version out, right now ...
I honestly expect the Boosters to be more repacks for PanO/YJ, especially when units like the Karhu aren't in Code One.
PS: I wonder what will happen to the Red Veil YJ part, since they kicked the HMG Version of Daofei out of the game.
So fast my hope will fade ... I don´t looked at C1 unit-list, to be honest. So nothing important on the Svarlaheima-Front until April I would assume.
What're we waiting on for SWF? Karhu and Vargar boxes and a Nokken blister or two? I think April might be the new Operation box, unless they've pushed it back due to the cancellation of Adepticon. At a guess we'll see either the Guilang or Zhanying (maybe both) in booster pack Beta and the HMG Daofei will be proxy/conversion fodder for those that have him.
Both the Beta Boosters coming out in February are named-character-heavy, whereas all the Alpha Boosters have regular troops. It'll be interesting to see if that is maintained as a systematic thing going forwards.
The only PanO characters in CodeOne are Shona and Gunnar. However, sticking with CodeOne, we could see also see Locusts, Aquila, perhaps a second Boyg, and Kamau.
Be good to see the Nisse Sniper and Kamau HMG back in print, maybe throw in the Aquila HMG to round out the box.
Could be. I imagine though it could be an Aquila MMR instead, since the MULTI Rifle one is still a hand sculpted relic.
Yeah, I think PanO is this. Yu Jing is probably Tiger Hacker, Yan Huo of some variety (betting on HRMC), Tac Bow Ninja. Hopefully not Lei Gong.
Well I hope that at least 2nd booster for YJ will have new units. We need Guilang combi, Hundun HRL, Tian Gous, Jujaks, Shang Jis, Ye Maos. Hopefully it will be Guilang, Hundun and KHD Tian. Other units could use box releases.
Something like that, yes. And Tian Guo Jammer/Hacker, Ye Mao Hacker, Engineer/FO (non lim.ed. version). Shang Ji HMG or Box, Jujak Engineer & Spitfire or Box, Lei Gong regular, Hundun HRL, Dao MR, Long Ya ... Oh ... yes, new Nomads and waiting again, for the useful profiles. I dislike to convert already painted minis. Yeah better to expect some repacks, but we got already repacked Zhanying Hacker with the first booster.
Tian Gou isn't in Code One, so that's doubtful. Personally, if they put a combi Guilang in the box, I'd be annoyed. That's a model I'd want multiples of...would rather it was in a blister than a box. **Edit - said "rather" too many times
Yan Huo missile launcher just went last chance to buy on the CB site, with OOP date in February, so I'm willing to bet up to 100 Jamaican dollars he'll be in booster beta. Nothing else showing as about to be discontinued for YJ so I'm willing to bet the other two models will be from Red Veil, maybe tiger hacker and Guilang sniper?
I was thinking about this, we don't have any Zuyongs available in the Code One stuff do we? That Red Veil Zuyong might be getting a new home, with Lei Gong coming later in the hero booster.
yeah, that sounds fairly definitive. Wow. I think you’re right. So weird to realize that a zuyong isn’t available in the starter. Red Veil zuyong sounds like a lock, then.
(Sorry for the bit of complaint.) So we are almost a year out from when White Banner first came out, and of course more since IA. Since then we’ve seen: No Tian Gou No Long Ya No Lei Gong 1 Shang Ji 1 Hundun 1 Jujak 1 Ye Mao 2 of Liang Kai but can only use 1. (yes good proxy for monk) WTF CB? Only one for the two possible fireteams in White Banner? I’m now expecting another 10 years before another Shang Ji comes out. I really wouldn't be upset if it wasn't that it's core fire teams that they haven't come out with. Especially because Shang Ji are important to both IA and WB. I also want Jujak but mainly for WC. It's really hard to have high hopes for the Beta Booster. First off, it's a 3 pack when we really need some of fireteam guys. Second, it's likely it's going to have at least one that can't even be in White Banner. What I'm hoping for this booster is a Guilang hacker, Hundun HRL, and Liu Xing Mutli-rifle or spitfire.
