Reading the rules of this program, I got a little confused. It says that use of the thing is short skill/ARO, so if I have an active program, and my opponents combat jump is incoming, can I drop the active one to use this one in an Aro? How does it work if there was no active program? Or does it have to be activated during my turn to have effect? Really confused by this one.. Sent from my M2007J3SG using Tapatalk
I'm tracking a question regarding number of supportware programs that can affect when some are hostile. As for your other questions, IJW has answered them, you'll be able to find them in the provisional answers or the tracking thread I'm maintaining. You can ARO Controlled Jump if opponent gives your EVO Hacker an ARO due to Hacking Area OR declares Combat Jump. You can also keep it maintained for continuous effect. Declaring Controlled Jump requires the EVO Hacker to drop any Supportware they are running. From and including during the order you activate Controlled Jump, your opponent will have -3 to their Combat Jump rolls. Not declaring Controlled Jump as a response to an enemy trooper declaring Combat Jump does NOT remove the EVO Hacker the opportunity to ARO normally (dodge, BS Attack, other Hacking, etc)
