The changes to AGL 4 give extra restrictions on when dice can be re-rolled against a Marked target. Marked gives no inherent ability to re-roll dice; is this just restricting when you can use Fortune Favors the Badass against a Marked target?
MARKED Targets affected by this State may be targeted, even without Line of Sight. • Targets affected by this State cannot benefit from Cover. Characters that perform an Action against a Target affected by this State may only re-roll a die from their Roll if: • They are not in Contact with the Target. • They or their Allies have imposed the Targeted State affecting the Target. I see that you understand "may only re-roll a die" as extra restrictions, and probably the wording is not good at all. As far as I know (and how is written in the spanish version) the new rule is to allow a re-roll if you fulfill the requirements.
Maybe this way: MARKED Targets affected by this State may be targeted, even without Line of Sight. • Targets affected by this State cannot benefit from Cover. Characters that perform an Action against a Target affected by this State may re-roll a die from their Roll but only if: • They are not in Contact with the Target. • They or their Allies have imposed the Targeted State affecting the Target. or: Characters that perform an Action against a Target affected by this State are granted a re-roll for a die from their Roll but only if:
Yeah, as HoD stated, "may reroll" (as is written below in the 'Hidden' entry) is sufficient. The following "if" is already enough, adding *only* makes it read in an unintended fashion. On the 2nd clause, you may also want to change 'Targeted' to 'Marked'. Everyone should already understand what you mean, but in all English cards and rules it is referred to as the Marked State.
