List of Infinity TTS Discord servers

With the pandemic continuing, many of us are still only able to play Infinity mostly or entirely on Tabletop Simulator (TTS). TTS games are arranged primarily through Discord servers (Discord is a gaming online chat service). I've compiled a list of Infinity Discord servers to help myself and other players find games.

Note: When I first made this list, Discord links weren't permanent, so I didn't include links to the servers. I gather that now the links can be permanent, so if you post links in this thread, I'll add them to the post.


Servers running tournaments

Infinity Global League
Runs worldwide or regional tournaments every few months.

A worldwide server. Runs tournaments with custom missions. Uses a large number of house rules.

The Vaulsc server also hosts the 3D model scanning project. Come here to find out about playing with fully 3D scanned models, or better yet, learn how to scan your own models and play with them. It's not as hard as you think!


Servers for pickup games

It's hard to know where to post for pickup games these days. All the big servers have looking-for-game (LFG) channels, but a lot of players are on all the servers and can see your post no matter which channel you put it in. Regional servers are more likely to have players in your timezone, but tend to not be very active recently.

Having identified some servers, yes I think one needs invites to join them. As far as I know, none of the servers are at all exclusive so it shouldn't be hard to get invites, but if I recall, Discord invites expire over time. Ideally, there would be a way to request invites through this list, or have them posted to the list.

As a starting point, if you post here and indicate which server(s) you want to join, hopefully someone can post or send an invite.

For myself, I'd like to join the Cascadia server. @wes-o-matic , do you have access to invites or know someone who does?

Updated and improved organization. If you know of a server I've missed, please post it here!

In particular, I would like the list of upcoming tournaments to be more complete. I'm sure there's more going on than the two that I have. TTS is a great way to attend tournaments that you wouldn't be able to travel to in meatspace - but to play in them, you have to know about them!

 

I've just updated the list. It's been a long time, so if anyone is aware of any new Discord servers or upcoming tournaments I've missed, please post them.

Also, any insights to improve the LFG section would be appreciated. If feels pretty hard finding online games these days, at least in North American timezones. European timezones seem to be a bit more active.

 

Removed the info on regions - thanks for the update. My info was a year out of date.

I haven't been posting the links because they would expire - but again, that may have changed in the year since I looked into this last. Will the link you posted expire, or is it permanent? If the latter, I'll add it to this OP.
