So during our recent game the following situation came up:

Trooper A declares cautious movement and walks across an alley. Inside this alley a Madtrap was deployed. Trooper A is outside the zone of control of the Madtrap, however Trooper A has to start inside "Line of fire" of the Madtrap.

Cautious movement only doesn't generate aros if Trooper A starts and stops outside of any lof and zoc of any marker or model.

Is a MadTrap or similar a model or a marker?
    What about camouflaged mines?

A Madtrap is a game element with Attributes represented on the table by a miniature. It is a Model.

A Mine on the table as a Camouflage Marker is a Marker.

Both of these will prevent Cautious Move if inside ZOC or if inside LOF of the Trooper executing the Cautious Move and they have reciprocal LOF.
