So, we had a rule argument last night on Discord about how camo vs camo is working. Theoretical situation: Camo A, in its active turn, declares Move and go in LoF with ennemy Camo B and an other enemy trooper. Camo B declares Delay and Camo A declares BS Attack. Here is the argument: - My take is that, in this case, you can't declare Camo B as one of your target, since you're not allowed to even declare an attack (outside of an Intuitive attack) aiming a camo marker. - The person I had an argument with says you can allocate some burst to Camo B and you get to shoot it if it reveals itself now that it is allowed to (since you revealed yourself). He said this on the argument that since a camo revealing itself during an order is considered as revealed for the whole order. So, who is right?
You cannot declare Attacks against Camouflaged Markers, it is necessary to Discover that Marker first (Discover + Attack maneuver), unless otherwise specified by a rule or Skill. So no, you cannot allocate Burst to a Camo Marker unless you’ve declared Discover against it in the same Order. Note that this isn’t a Requirement that can then be failed, but a prohibition against even declaring the Attack.
