No way! I love it, but it just isn't quite as sturdy as other stuff in the long run. :D

    That papercraft is seriously cool.

I have a table concept I want to test and that looks ideal as a test-bed before moving to MDF for the permanent version.

Thank you! If anyone wants to take a crack at building them for themselves, I've put my designs in this pdf file. There''s no instructions or anything, but they should be mostly self-evident.

One option for avoiding that is to print it and use it as a "mask"... I've done so with several pieces I made either with gluing sturdy cardboard, or directly using a cardboard box as the skeleton.

I've plastered some walls with posters (thanks to Wylde83 for those!), build more papercraft scatter and tried my hand at some photo backdrops for the table.

Looking better and better with each iteration.
For the backdrop, I'll vote for the second one (too much water in the first one)

Sehr Gut. Seal the paper too, for durability. Spray or brush sealer works. Try some buildings with stepped bottoms so that they can fit on the edge of the crater ( ie part of the base on the top level and part on the bottom). Makes it look like they are built into the side of the crater.

    Off-topic: You a juggler?

It's a really nice looking table.
I especially like your interpretation of the objective room. :+1:

Ah, cool. I saw the 4 juggling balls in the photo. Can you juggle 4? I never could, unless you count 2 in each hand, which isn't really the same thing.

A suggestion for the walls. Glue 2 layers, or even 3, of some sort of food packaging box, like a cereal box together. You may want to rough up the sides with a fine grit sandpaper, or scrape, which have printing. Then glue your papercraft wall sections to either side. Much more durable. Just use a weight to keep them flat while the glue dries. Or just use foamcore. Papercraft is good stuff, but anything that can add a bit of weight to it is a good thing.

Same here just a little of 2 per hand. Never got beyond that. :D

Over Easter I had the opportunity to doa little demo game for a friend and his son, using my table (one piece of it for 2' by 3'). They had great fun running a small selection of Ariadna vs Yu Jing based on the intro rules for CodeOne (with a little button pushing added). They had line of sight, AROs, weapons ranges etc down quickly and enjoyed the action-packed Infinity gameplay a lot. Here are som pics:

Nice! Makes me want (NEED!) to start on a desert table idea that's been rattling around in my head for some time now...

I won (well, a consolation prize really) the set of geodesic domes by TTCombat at my last tournament. They make a great addition for my Mars crater table, and so I painted them in the same grey-white colors as my paper terrain. I'm quite happy how they turned out.
