I think they're actually more diverse than in N3, which makes "must-have" more difficult. I don't think the Druze grenade launcher is a must-have anymore, due to losing the +3 range band, which means it could eat a lot of orders. Saito is still really damn good, but won't make it in every list. The Peacemaker is just incredible and always a valuable inclusion. Similar units which are well worth their cost would be the Bounty Hunters, Anaconda, Bulleteers, Wolfgang, and Scarface. In fact, outside of Druze and Brawlers, the only other unit to consistently be in 100% of my Druze lists would be the Hunzakut. I also find myself taking 1-2 Brawler Doctors in most lists, sticking one in a haris with 2 Druze Snipers (or 1 Druze and 1 ABH), gives them a lot more staying power.
I feel like the TAG rebalance in N4 has rendered the lack of HI moot. Who needs an Al Fasid when you can get an Anaconda for the same cost?
Absolutely, I'm so glad I converted that Anaconda ages ago for my StarCo. I love Scarface, but I'll probably fit the Anaconda into more lists, which is something I never thought I'd say.
I don’t remember the conversion, but I’m assuming it was a weapon swap to have a gun instead of a giant machete?
I'm also glad I did my Anaconda back in N3. The HMG profile is fantastic for Druze. Used the Al Fasid HMG on this.
I feel like DBS is in a solid place. So far in n4 my dbs have been doing good. I think the Kamaru sniper tower dominating the meta really hurt our numbers because we didn't have a solid answer to it. For awhile the game was trying to break the sniper tower while preserving your sniper tower. In my humble and amateur opinion it's not quite as meta defining now so we're doing much better. That said, while I love my druze (they might dethrone my native ariadna as my main.) But they still feel like a red headed step child of a faction. I feel like if CB graced us with an action pack, almost all the other boxes around it are updated aside from our tags (especially if tag raid updates scarface for us!) An action pack with some combi rifle druze plus a handful of new profiles, a non dire foes Arslan and we'd be in a wonderful place. My dream is to see DBS feel like a JSA level unique NA2 faction because we're not quite a NA2 combo faction. I think we're 1 action pack away from this. Hell submondo is mentioned nonstop in the fluff, so many characters are tied to submondo. Let dbs be where you can represent submondo on the table with that action pack. We're not even the most complex hacking faction, we just have solid access to it. Our rules would translate to c1 pretty well. So let dbs be the face of na2 in c1.
I have also been loving Druze in N4. My wishlist is just some sort of Druze HI. Something that matches the super cool aesthetic of Druze, but with the extra beefiness.
And I want to clarify that I'm not saying that because I think Druze needs an HI unit. I just think it would be cool haha
I'm still kinda sad that I see a lot of Druze lists and players not using actual Druze. You might find the necessary single one to make a Core or Haris team but beyond that I don't see them. I've always loved the X-Visor and out ranging opponents.
Sad really, the reason I play Druze is 100% the Druze models, I liked the design from when they first appeared.
This is my challenge as well. I love druze but damn man fitting more than 1 or 2 in is really hard. I just want some more druze centric profiles and minis so I can have more 'druze' in my lists.

This right here. Why I bought the box, why I run the faction. I play Druze to use druze or else we're just Ikari with buliteers and an andoconda. I'm also right here. I swear in one of the rpg books there is mention of a yellow jackets unit which is Druze HI. I like druze, I like HI, let's mix peanut butter and chocolate. That said if we had to wishlist. I'd want them to hold a niche outside of "it can link!" Why I'd want a S5 druze HI similar to the Al Fasid or even the ratnik. A turret to help lock down a flank, or else a wrecking ball you want to get up close and persornal. I think just a Zhuyong or Orc with a yellow helmet would be s big mistake for the flavor of the faction.
I'd essentially like a regular Druze with +1 Wound, 6-2 Move. Keep all of the same skills and the same weapons maybe. Of course even better if they can wildcard as well ;)
