Assuming a fireteam containing trooper A with climbing plus, trooper B with super jump and trooper C without any of those skills. * Can I declare "short movement skill" and then have A use climbing plus, B super jump and C move on the ground?
Super-Jump allows a trooper to declare the Entire Order Movement Skill Jump as a Short Movement Skill Jump. Climbing+ allows a trooper to declare the Entire Order Movement Skill Climb as a Short Movement Skill Climb and more importantly also allows the trooper to use the Short Movement Skill Move to traverse vertical terrain as if they are horizontal. Short Movement Skill is a skill type it is not a skill declaration of its own. As such, Super-Jump and Move can not be combined; however, Climbing+ and Move can be combined if you declare Move.
Note that as far as I can tell, Climbing Plus allows the declaration of Climb only because there some situations involving “free movement”, and no one wants to be left out of a good deal. :)
