What do you think is the best way to hide Cho with the holomask? I tried using Epsilon HMG for it, but most seems to realize it after the first round. In one case it had the unintended side effect of looking like a juicy target so she died quick. Cyberghost and hiding her in a link both seem like good alternative but cyber ghost is fairly obvious after a while and link is risky.
There are plenty of options to disguise Cho. You can either disguise her as something unassuming or you can disguise her as something scary to attack up close. Something unassuming could be a Dakini paramedic or a Kappa Hacker. Something scary would be a Bronze HSG, a Bluecoat ADHL, or maybe Shona Carano. What I will recommend is that you don't mask her as someone that your opponent expects you to spend orders on turn 1. So maybe disguise her as a secondary or tertiary attack piece. And one important thing to note, Cho cannot join any fireteams, currently.
Beta KHD in mostly full cover. Nobody wants to mess with him and if a KHD hacker still wants to go for him, well... have a laugh? Has always worked so far for me. It's also a nice way to pretend that you have more points on the field while Goldstein or a Crusher wait to rush in later.
Hacker looks like a nice option but gets revealed if don't aro properly. Bronze is an interesting option. I keep forgetting he is S2 despite his size I might have misunderstood the link rules, but holo masked unit can join links correct but get kicked out when revealed? For instance Cho as Kappa in a Kappa link.
A doctor or engineer can be a safe option. Another one is to disguise her as a "spare" fireteam core member.
I like using her as an epsilon sniper prone on a rooftop, especially if I am running another one on another rooftop. gotta have some hidden swc to sell it, though.
same for me, it also helps me against impersonators that she is in a hard to reach place. second best option is blue coat or engineer, at least for me
In vanilla I have disguised her as an Omega MR. No one wants to tangle with him up close, not even dedicated LT hunters. Now that the Bronze exists she’s going to be the HSG or MR Bronze. Hiding as an expensive model helps to obscure a drop troop if someone tries to suss out your points breakdown.
