Coleslaws Corner: O-12 and terrain

Hi, I'm starting with a new color scheme for my O-12 and as I have quit Facebook I now have more time for forums .

I have magnetized and primed most of strike team "Gambit" f2f. And started painting




Coyote started out named Groucho, but that doesn't really fit. Just haven't repainted the base yet...









So that's the start

I also think I prefer the font used on Coyotes pictures...

Finally got some more painting done. I'm not sure about the color scheme, thinking that I maybe should add a lot of black parts on the armor. What do you think?

 

Nothing advanced, but I feel my black is a bit to flat, so I painted up a chain rifle with an additional layer. Usually I only go Black -> Edge highlighting with blue-grey -> White dot highlighting.
Now I added a layer of dark grey before edge highlighting, leaving black in recesses.
I think it's worth the extra work [emoji2]

Some more painting done. I feel I'm changing the painting scheme a bit with every model right now... Hopefully it'll stabilize [emoji849]

Dancer is done, but needs some even matte varnish.

And apparently, I need another project to alternate with...

I backed Antenociti's Forward Base kickstarter (2014 ?). And now I have started putting the first habitat together [emoji6]



The kit is really good with lots of resin to add details and dept. If I could I would probably buy a few more buildings now. But I do have 8 habitats + vehicles and stuff to build, so it will keep me occupied for a while, I guess [emoji7]
