I've got my spiral-y boys and girls all ready to go for my first tournament of N4, and my second/third/fourth games of the same.

We're playing Domination, Firefight, and Supplies, and I'd like to tap into the collected knowledge of the alien council in regards to decide what lists to take. I have virtually the entire Tohaa/Spiral range and can proxy anything I'm missing.

Any and all help would be appreciated! :)

I'm looking to run something like this I think. Since I think it can do Supplies, it should be fine for the other missions also.

I would recommend ditching the Kosuil in your Tricore as it does't really add anything to the link. I'd either downgrade to a Kriigel with Smoke Grenade Launcher or upgrade to the Dazer Draal.
If you choose to downgrade, you'll be able to change one of the Kiuutans to Jaan Staar.

You'll also want more orders on your main attack piece, which will be the Tricore link. (If you take the first turn and start with your Clipsos in HD, you currently have 6 regular orders for your Tricore) I'd recommend switching the Helots with the Kaeltar and one of the Kiuutans. That way, you'll still have enough orders in your second group to actually do stuff.

If you are allowed to bring a second list consider something like this for the kill/dominate missions:

    g4oAG0tlcmFpbCwgMiBEcmFhbCwgSWdhbywgSmFhboEsAgEKAYUaAZL5AAKFGAEDAAOFGwEBAASGEgEBAAWFGAEEAAaCjwEEAAeCjwEEAAiCzwEDAAmCwwEDAAqGEQEBAAIFAYUbAQUAAoUcAQEAA4UcAQEABITGAQgABYTGAQgA

Sadly, I couldn't test this list yet, though I have used similar lists already. It should ne pretty good at controlling areas. I am not too high on the reex triad but it should do the trick since it's only purpose is to lay down a smoke screen for the first group.
I have another list ready which I am higher on but it involves Kerail and Rasail which I know many people don't recommend.

I took the Kosuil to give the Tri-Core a second specialist for pushing buttons, and also because the K1 should be a decent counter to a TAG or two. I'd definitely swap one of the Kiiutan into the main group for more orders.

I like your second list for Firefight/Dominate, it's really good. I love Kerails!

    There you go:

    g4oAG0tlcmFpbCwgUmFzYWlsLCBEcmFhbCwgSmFhboEsAgEKAYUaAZL5AAKFGAEDAAOFGwEDAASGEgEBAAWCzwEDAAaGEAEHAAeGEQECAAiDFwEFAAmDFwEBAAqCjwEEAAIFAYKPAQQAAoKPAQQAA4UYAQQABITGAQgABYTGAQgA

The second combat group doesn't look like much, but in a pinch, it can take down an ARO piece through smoke or discover some camo units either with sensor or msv2.

    As for the Kosuil debate:
I get the need for specialists and it certainly is more durable than a Kriigel, nut remember that Kriigels also bring Eraser the table, which is a massive control tool and a good unit to protect your tricore when it is stuck in the midfield after your first turn.
    I might be wrong, though.

I just ran the numbers in the N3 Dice Calculator (so the math isn't quite right, but it hasn't changed significantly), and the Kosuil is only favored slightly in this case (~5% higher chance to wound per order against an ARM7 TAG in cover, and about 10% higher against a Jotum in cover).

You can't wound things you don't hit, and you can't hit things that outshoot you -- the ODD makes a huge difference.

How is it only slightly higher? K1 is Damage 13 vs Arm 0. So a Jotum has as much protection as like...a Zanshi. Against K1 a TAG might as well be made of tissue paper.

But you are only comparing DMG values. In order to deal damage to something, you'll have to win the face to face roll, first.
With the better rangeband of the APMMR when compared to the K1 Combi, the 13BS and ESPECIALLY the -6 mod that the Draal will impose on most TAGs, he is far more likely to hit, thus forcing the TAG to make more ARM rolls which will consequently lead to, more or less, evened odds in the stated comparison.

If you are concerned with tank hunting, I'd recommend the new Igao with Mirrorball. He should shred most of them once he's in CC. Other than that, the Draal should do just fine.

    Yeah that's fair.

I love the idea of the Kriigel too.
