Thanks for comments guys! I haven't stripped her, I've just painted over. =) It's 4 years old N3 sculpt. Grass is some GF9 flock, I've just took it piece by piece and configured exact shape with glue and tweezers. Petals are Mini-Natur cherry-blossoms 1:87. I've tore off flowers, glued them on base and configured shapes by both cutting with knife and pressing with blunt end of brush. And I've also painted both grass and petals, except for Kuge. And now to winter stuff. Finaly had enough hobbie-time and painted some heavy-lifters. Second Yaokong, flashlight one: Spoiler: More pics The man, the menace, harbinger of a real warcore: Spoiler: More pics And 2020 opener, engineer yaosaurus: Spoiler: More pics
Great work! I'm actually painting the same remote and will steal borrow your white plate idea to help breaking the main color.
great paintjob your red on the drone is really nice the white with warm tone shadows on the yao work really well and cool light effects not sure about the green shoulder on the yao tho
I'm not a regular reader of the forum so I've completely missed your topic. This JSA army is really stunning. Your paintjob is subtle : textures, colored details and modular highlights bring a lot af accomplishment and personnality to each miniature. A true pleasure to admire, keep on! :)
Been awhile. Yet again. After long "rest" from small dudes I've returned and tried something new. I'll start with simple one. There is my first expirience in painting something in the evening right before tournament: Spoiler: More pics Took me only 3 hours which is really fast for me. And quite surprisingly result is better than my best expectations was. Can't say the same about his performance though... And now to my greatest hobby experince of this year. Finaly forced myself to try oils and oh boy... I've enjoyed it so much that now I just have zero wish painting with acrylics. To try them out I've chose the mini that I liked but had no reasons to put in my lists: Spoiler: More pics Since release of N4 I regret nothing. =D Then I've painted spec-op. Have no idea what to do with such amount of cheerleaders now but really love the mini. More keisotsu for the god of keisotsu, I guess: Spoiler: More pics And after two years of postponing I've finaly decided that I'm ready to paint my Motoko: Spoiler: More pics Completely fulfilled my long time desire to paint some artificial lights. That's all!
@Daimeow This recent upload is a pleasant well done surprise. You have certainly done an outstanding job on each model's paint job and easily pulled off the artificial lights on Motoko.
New stuff incoming! At last finished my conversion of Yuriko Oda made from OP:RV zhanshi. It's been a lazy WIP for almost 3 years... =D Credits to N4 for sudden burst of motivation. This project tought me that sculpting faces in 28mm is real pita. Spoiler: More pics The second course would be Lu Duan - my favorite of asian REMs minis. Tried to make reds appear all reflective and shiny as on those sexy sport cars. Hope it works. And I like how flamethrower turned out. Now with convenient b2 i'will burn all pesky anime haters! .
