    Hello all,

I play infinity with my son, may do tournaments in the future. We started with N3 and since we didn't play more than once a week for every minute of game time we spend another minute reviewing rules. So when Code1 came out we happily started playing and we like it. However I am sure when time permits we would like to try out some N4 games. So I was thinking since I played mostly OSS in N3, and am playing Yu Jing in Code 1 looking at the unit interoperability between ISS and OSS in N4. I will make a matrix of units to see what overlaps, and of course proxy models as well, but does anyone have any advice on this?

In OSS, you can field a Dakini core with Deva wildcard, which should still be a solid base for OSS lists in N4.
Deva + Dakini Haris is a new thing for ISS in N4 and an interesting one at that. I'd try something like this:

Dakini HMG or MSR + Deva KHD + Dakini Paramedic next to a Pangguling EVO remote. The EVO can put Assisted Fire/Enhanced Reaction on your Dakini point man and is in turn protected against hackers by the Deva KHD. With a Sophotect or their Yudbot nearby to keep everyone alive, this seems like a nice second combat group with some serious punch and utility. Sophotects are the only Doctor / Engineer profile available for ISS. They are a bit pricy but very useful if you have the points to spare.

This leaves another 192 points to fill your first combat group with the good old 4 Kuang Shi + CG, some heavy hitters and skirmishers.

In OSS, Sophotects face hard competition by the MK1 Posthuman and Parvati in their role, but they should still be useful. You could also get a nice fitting sculpt and just proxy either of those. Same goes for the EVO remote, which fulfills a more central role in N4. Just get whatever remote you like best and use it for both factions - they are identical rules wise anyway.

Garudas are also shared between ISS and OSS as the only AD assault unit in both factions, so they are a fairly safe bet and got a nice new specialist loadout in N4.

Thanks for the reply. I will start looking at lists that cover those units and see what I can build.

I also looked at the overlap from the sets for Code One and the sectorials and see that (not surprisingly) white banner has the most overlap with 9 units and then it drops to 3 for IA and 1 for ISS. So I got some stuff to chew on.
