Army 7 feature requests (long term)

Would still be great if Strategos converted the orders, which I'm sure they will as that was a function of the last army builder.

 

I would love a feature which has a glossary/brief reminder of all the skills relevant to your list when you print out the army sheet.
Kind of like the weapons, hacker, booty list, etc, but this one focusing on key words and special skills. It would save having to always go through the rulebook or Wiki.

 

I'd like for army mobile to let me move my models in my list around. It is a tad tedious to have to delete half my list if I want to change a model from one battle group to another while list building.

 

I would like to see the number count of minis regarding the 15 (order not really orders) cap

for new players it's really hard to get what is those 15
some profile have more than one order or more than one mini ...

 

On Android you can press and hold to move the troopers around, not sure if the same on fruity devices.

Really? It's been reliable for me, hold until the entry 'pops' out then it follows my finger.

Maybe it's a device issue, I've just gotten a fairly new model phone.

 

Huawei Mate 20 Pro, last spring's refresh of the flagship on Android 10. It's not like I'm running something old.

 

Huh, I'm on a relatively cheap Samsung A51.

 

I would love the feature from the previous version of army where you could right click on a profile in the list and swap it out for a different load out of the same profile.

 

Things Army needs to improve its usability

1. Print courtesy lists. Sharing public information is a pain in the ass right now
   
2. Allow me to "save over" a list rather than just creating an extra copy of the list with the same name. Requires less effort to curate my save files because I have 5 billion copies of lists with the same name and minor variations and it's a pain
3. Please return the ability to paste the army directly from the app to the forum. It's a huge pain in the ass to discuss lists and stuff right now.
4. Allow the unit list to be placed horizontally rather than vertically. Vertical takes up too much space on smaller screens and makes the windows overlap with each other and kills readability.

 

Would love to see the cost/swc filters again. Also on the web version for some reason the army lists don't seem to show up intuitively (i.e. alphabetical order or by unit type) They're just sort of... random. On the mobile app they are grouped by type.

 

You can change the way they are grouped in the Options.

 

I'd love if they wrote on the hacking programs reference which hacking devices has access to them. Also, it'd be a nice little quality of life thing if we could filter so only the programs we have access to in our list appeared.

 

I was about to post the same, the points value and swc filters were very handy.

 

It'd be nice if they added Wildcard to skills you can filter.

 

And skill variants, like all Mimetism -6 troopers. And Character. And points. And SWC. And Attribute values.

 

I miss the SWC and Points search options in Army Builder too.
