Not currently in the app . Still almost always worse than template though due to cover (except in the aforementioned case when you can't drop a template)
It's also necessary in case the target is positioned near allied or neutral troops- Template attacks that would hit non-enemies are cancelled, so if there was no hit mode you couldn't fire into a melee or hit an enemy standing next to a civilian, among other situations.
Long Ya had one of the Panzerfausts converted into a Flammenspeer. It's got roughly HMG range bands and can burn Fireteams to a crisp. I've lost quite a few Zuyong to Helot LRL so that's what I mean. Weapons got upgraded hard, even if it overlaps with the Hundun significantly.
Seems they fixed the Yan Huo Neuro profile so that it works. (With a small beneficial consequence to the Heavy Pistol) FIX LIST Yan Hou – Changed the MOD on the Neurocinetics profile.
The Hundun is on another level with the Hidden Deployment shot that it can place on a linkteam unexpected.
Indeed. It's fairly close in damage and hit potential, but I'm of half mind to see if I can construct a list where I can somehow motivate my opponent to move their Fireteam on the other side of the table using Long Yas, into one or several Hundun. A nonsensical EVO Hacker might be enough to convince my opponent that the missing SWC are Tigers
Oh, that's an Impact Template not a Direct Template, that's why I was confused I thought you were referring to the Heavy Shotgun having an HMG rangeband.
Truth be told, I didn't think much of the Kunai either but Climbing+ and getting cover by default, merely being on higher ground, have made the MMR profile surprisingly good in my lists. It's very good to hunt down chaff and/or weak/obvious Lt's like those in CJC, O-12 and Onyx.
I am known for liking my Hidden shenaniganery, but I wouldn't want them thinking there's a Kunai near, either
Ditto this, since the hacking threat is more meaningful, the 'real' TO Camo unhackable guy with C+ really fits the bill by pecking people from midlines. It does work great! Not a fan of MSR, though.
Was just thinking how Lunah can now force a -12 at range pretty easily, which was rare in imperial service, by pulling a surprise shot through smoke. She'll be hitting on 10s with triangulated fire which is not ideal but still a new tool.
Realistically what would you use that against? Linked AROs ignore the -9 from smoke and surprise attack, and TR bots well you can -12 them without using the smoke anyway.
