I'm pretty sure they mentioned no plans to rework Bakunin and without changes to Observance you can expect nothing and still be disappointed in the end.
What I expect is - Oh, noes! Combined army launched an assault on Bakunin! Now they'll go oop to recover!
But no worries, we got you a new and shiny Kosmoflot-ish army! And here's Kusanagi mini so you don't feel too bad.

I mean in the game. Infowar are more things than just hacking. The war of information is present in the game, and is more than just hacking. And in there, nomads have not so much more than other factions, but B said in one video that nomads are the infowar faction.

I'm expecting a Kusanagi profile rework to commemorate the new model and nothing else Bakunin-specific beyond that. We'll get point changes based on how the formula changes, and the obligatory 15 pieces of flair to make it look new for N4.

I'm OK with that, to be honest. I played a game Sunday with N4 rules so far as we know them and I feel really good about it, between the new visor rules and the new dodge rules.

this is something to be expected for most models... but during N3, the formula for religious troop changed, yet observancy didn't change at all. I am affraid if this will happen again.

So, today's releases make me feel safer.

Ghazi did not increase in points, so I'm betting Morlocks won't, either. They're going to get some sort of change, though, because otherwise they'll drop a point for CC22. Wonder what it will be? I think I'd take a light shotgun/smoke Morlock, or maybe a Pulzar Morlock?

I guess pupniks stay at 1pt and they'll just add a point onto the cost of hyperdynamics 2.

Expecting big things from the Taskmaster. I keep hearing all this stuff about how profiles are getting way cheaper, but I've seen almost no evidence of that so far on S2 models. The outlook for S5+ is much rosier~

From the Mayacast interview Bostria said that on average LI are staying the same or going up a point, and MI/HI have about 2-5 point discounts.

Ghazi have kind of gone up in points, the 5 points now gets you a Chain Rifle and either E/Marat or Smoke, Chain Rifle and Jammer is 6 points (no smoke or E/Marat for him though).

SWC costs took a reduction too, non-TAGs tend to cap out at 1.5 SWC for heavy weapons now, which bodes well for Taskmaster HRL, SWC GRRLs, and Prowler Spitfire.

He said that, yeah, but the profiles we're seeing don't bear that out in my eyes. There's a CC tweak that's driving a broad 1pt discount, but that seems to be it. Otherwise, the stat block seems to be exactly the same. The stuff that has rolled out is packed to the gills with abilities that might have been discounted, but I don't see the mechanism where a Riot Grrl or Brigada or whatever is going to drop 5 points.

Big stuff I think will see significant discounts and I am p. excited to run my Taskmaster HRL, who just didn't quite cut it on his own in N3. Hopefully now he'll be cheap enough to run with a friend.

Doubt we'll see Grrls drop much, if at all, as they already benefited from a sizeable Frenzy discount.

If Code One prices translate into N4 we might be looking at ~30 points for a Multi Brigada though, high ARM and PH values look to be cheaper, as do multi rifles. Would also put them on a par with Hollow Men.

I think Multi rifles might have dropped a point, yeah. Not clear yet. I'll be happy if they do - I want to use them more.

Look at the Bronze though.. his statline is not a lot different from a Brigada, and he costs a ton. He has a lot of abilities and Total Immunity aint cheap, but he sure doesn't feel like he's getting any kind of discount.

So with the Rev. Moiras now able to form a Haris Fireteam thanks to the Rev. Custodiers (am I correct @ijw ?) there seems to be some use for those overpriced but fragile Nuns:

Soo, what do you think about this?

Now that you can mix moderators fireteam I think that taking MSR is just a waste of swc. I'd consider throwing riot grrls, vostoks or clockmakers in moderator link.

Well, the unmixed Moderators Fireteam did well for the whole N3 so I'm reluctant to change that. In general I'm no fan of those mix and match teams although the Mods could be interesting with a Spitfire Riot Grrl...
Also the loss of the stun mode for all multi weapons is a real bummer and I'm worrying N4 might get too kill focused.

I actually had a missile in mind. You can swap sniper for her for 16 points more and get similar aro piece. But with more armor, DAM 16, extra wound, +3 BS and msv1. And can dodge if things don't go too well.
I mean, It's almost a steal for that kind of an upgrade.

If she could just go in a Haris with Healer + Custodier now like she could before she'd have a pretty decent place.

Mind you NCO, No2 and zapper isn't too bad if it has to be a Moira, just not sure which one.

One of each with Kusanagi as the Moira would be cooler. Wish she was just counts as Moira.

    No she can't.

You can't have Kusanagi + Healer + Custodier Fireteam because while all those troopers can go in a Moira Fireteam, you don't have a Moira in it, which is a requirement of Fireteam composition (to have a troop of the type of link it is in the link).

And Healers can't go in Custodier fireteams, and vice versa.

It's silly IMHO, but that's the way it is right now. If Kusanagi counted as a Moira (or even better Healers and Custodiers could go in each other's firesteams) it would be fixed.
