They're from a beta version of the army builder that was being used to test functionality. It wasn't the final database so profiles might be old, unfinished, unproofread, etc. Some profiles line up with official reveals, while others are clearly wrong.
After seeing several profiles and talks on 4chan I really hope those are not final. Corregidor is shaping up extremely well some nice buffs are coming. Tunguska on the other hand doesn't look that well. Maybe CB put all the focus on Corregidor. Like I said we haven't seen the big picture, and the profiles are, I hope, old and unfinished. 5 more days...
I figured they probably finished Corregidor first. With three new units it's one of the big talking points for N4 and they wanted to have something to show in the studio updates. They said multiple times they took the time to rework ALL the sectorials so we'll just have to wait and see on friday.
There's one more thing to consider. Tunguska is the most recent Nomad sectorial. Therefore, it is way less distanced form what CB had in mind for N4 Nomads - while Corregidor and Bakunin have grown significantly longer in the teeth - thus making them N4-compatible requires more easily spotted adjustments. If there are any adjustments to be made in Tunguska, they are likely less evident.
Yes. But what I am curious about is, what CB is doing with Moiras. If what I have seen is right its like with the Wildcats to some extent. Instead of making vulnerable MI cheeper, they kept the price but instead slapped some more rules and eqipment on them. I don't know if this is the right way to make them playable, because in the end, they are still just some expensive 1W-Trooper that die to a crit or unlucky roll. And if these expensive MI cost almost as much as two cheap HI (Tanko or Domaru) I am curious if this balances out. 1 wound vs. 4 wounds. Non-hackable vs. hackable ...
Well, a few more days of patience, and we will see how CB have handled them. Then, it will be months of playing and comparing notes to learn if they were right in their way of handling them.
"Patience"? The forbiden word!!!!!! Thee shall pay for this Heresy! The fanatic mob will decide your fate.
I hope so, those geckos look nuts, and the Iguana is cheap enough that it might actually see some table time outside of ForCo. who needs crits and unlucky rolls when pretty much every model now carries a DTW to just fuck them with out a roll (I really loathe the shotgun change).
Yeah shotgun DTW is the only change I'm not seeing myself possibly coming around on. But that's a different topic.
As others have said, those are profiles for testing the APP, not for testing profiles (something some people have missunderstood). So there might be a lot of "changes" intended expresedly for testing purposes. I don't believe any of those profiles but if we are to talk about them... maintain? the leaked is more expensive! they get n2 and NCO, but pay for them directly without the new discounts. The only cheaper is the multi rifle, but because MR are cheaper in this new edition geckos with real TAG profile and +2Damage look sweet, specially that markmanship rifle, or chain rifles. the other TAGs got cheaper without much changes, those might be near of what to expect. but we will see. I am usually one of the negative guys in here (And I was very disapointed about grenzers leaked profile), but knowing how software testing goes, and knowing that DB was for testing an app, I have to say to wait. There will be random values (just to test something particular on the go), obsolete data (because different testing releases), really obsolete data (on purpose), wrong data (on purpose), and so, just with the intent of trying to break the app
KHD vs a Carbonited Hacker is cool: Hacker can only Reset as their ARO and will Reset at -3 WIP. Same if you get Spotlight off vs say a TAG in ARO and then want to leverage that into Total Control: it's +3 WIP to you and -3 WIP to their Reset. Forcing Reset with Mods will be an interesting way to leverage ARO Hacking into making Active Hacking viable.
The Sphinx with Quad Courage was particularly interesting to see. ;) Very courage. So -6 Mimetism. Wow. Much 6-4.
I mean I'd be quad courageous too if I was a giant stompy remote control robot you couldn't see with a massive flamethrower and a high burst assault weapon ;)
I mean, Marksmanship profile is easily the best ARO Tunguska can put on the table. Do my eyes deceive me, or Kriza can now be put in HM core? 0_o
Oh, God. Meteor is now 0,5 swc, spektr sniper down to 33 and you can link moderators with ODD vostok or tsyklon AND Clockmaker AND Riot Grrls in Bakunin
Both Perseus (in JCT) and Massacre (in FTO) list their FTO profiles as able to slot into fireteams, but neither has a FTO option anymore. And weren't Wildcats supposed to have Core Fireteam? Typos?
According to the fireteams chart, they do. But it seems that developers of the app couldn't decide if they should put Fireteam: Core in the profiles or not, so it shows up on some units, and is absent from others (for example, Securitates in TJC).
Just noted that most of Ramah Taskforce is missing all Fireteam information. So, looks like more a failure to proofread than an actual change.
