So I was lucky to pick up the old N2 Combined Army Starter box with the three Morat Vanguard, a Daturazi, a Malignos Sniper and the Old Charontid. How do you all think would be the best use of them as proxies?
I mean... I don't play CA, but aren't the Morat Vanguard, Daturazi, Malignos and Charontids still a part of the Combined Army now in N3, and probably next week in N4...?
It's an N1 starter, not N2... But the only adjustment needed to use it today is to put the Charontid on a 40mm base, which also makes it significantly more stable!
The box is old, but I still have and use those models. I think the Human Sphere era HMG Charontid is my favorite sculpt for that unit, but the starter box model is the one I have painted and use the most often.
I have that old HMG Charontid as well, and I think that one - together with Anathematic - nails the CA aesthetics best. Old Vanguards might make for a suitable Krakots, me thinks
