I'm astonished that so many things got cheaper while CB limits us to only 15 combat group slots. it seems liek the only "nerfs" that are happening in n4 is if something doesnt change or get cheaper. (looking at you magister)
Like i said before , not everything in spoilers was even closed to finished. So I'll assume for now that their profile just didnt have the new formula applied yet. A magister cant be just 3 less points than a previewed teuton. While being extremely impetuous and having bs12
I have no hope only one KHD that is an DA troop boarding ... no more wildcard KHD tinbot with our magisters ... magister lost stealth AND no cost decrease don't even speak to me about that joke of the new sepulchre (I so f***ing hate S5 HI) well unless all that it's false information, I don't think so: every bit of info we have been shown about N4 was in there without errors
Not really sure what your hang up on killer hackers are. If the leaks mostly correct there is a plethora of specialist options in the army - alot of forward observers which are still buy and large the best from a price point perspective. if the Seraph ends up being only 67 points that's pretty great too. That's "Distraction Seraph" levels of cost effectiveness. my only concern right now is still a lack of high-burst long range reliable firepower.
the new trinitarian doesn't have a KHD and magister lost their stealth as I've said above (which makes sense yes)
Like i said before im pretty certain that isnt the finalized profile. It just looks exactly like the n3 profile. It doesnt have the new HI point discount. Nothing has been adjusted . And despite always been comparable in cost to tanko now our magister bs12 ml is significantly more expensive than their bs13 one? If im wrong im happy enough to admit in on friday. But im thinking they will see some favorable change. But who knows maybe not. Maybe we were right to think they were getting removed earlier
My guess is that they're gone. They have no change to their profile, just the denesting thing everyone got. Maybe losing stealth was deliberate but it could easily be an error given the state of the leaks. Given most units, especially CC units, picked up +1 CC, and that all non-recent HI profiles lost half a dozen points or so, would be very surprised if this is a realistic profile. As for MO, I'm a bit pissed that Teutons still aren't impetuous. I mean come on man. Otherwise I'm just waiting on the Joan fireteam rules for a final verdict, but they are looking a lot better.
I haven't seen the leaked profiles and they are not finalized, so all my assumptions are based on this thread + previous information. 15 order limit will make pitcher+hacking more difficult. Also, KHD BSG santiago with combat jump can kill enemy hackers with much less orders in active turn. It is sad that magisters didn't get discount, but they will be much easier to control with updated impetuous rule. I haven't used magisters a lot, so I'm not sure about the impact of losing stealth. Lastly, I don't quite understand people's hate on S5 HI. In N4, they can take cover from smaller scenaries and move through narrower path. Of course they cannot hide behind the same object as S2, but I don't think that a critical downside. MO after 3rd offensive was controversial. I think it will be similar with N4 update, but I think general N4 changes favor MO. Overall, I am really excited and can't wait for N4 drop.
I just find the teuton potential profile hilarious. Its just CB refusing to back down from their stance of "this profile works its the community that is wrong " . But hey at least they are super cheap now.
Its mostly that the S5 units are poorly designed. Often just a pile of armor and mediocre guns. Like, some expensive dude with a MK12 and a sword. Fuck that thing. But look at the Krieza - thats an armored gun done properly. Given the track record with MO, I'm expecting the Holy Sepulcher to be a Knight of Justice clone tbh. Another 100 stat man in a game where stats ain't shit. But at least the stats are cheaper now.
As is, not really excited to use it. But if Magisters are interesting, or if the price cuts to MO add up enough (not convinced, we seem to be seeing smaller cuts than other HI), a haris of them might be decent. But of course they have a swc tax on the specialist and a lot of redundant overlapping profiles lol. Wouldn't kill them to give one of the Teutons a shotgun or something
note if the profile we saw for the teuton remains the same, they will both be ava 1 and still lack stealth
I imagine thats the vanilla profile. Military Orders on the other hand, will get to take three of these delightful fellows. Jeez, if they lack stealth... I mean come on man what the hell. I get it that they might be yelling and bloodthirsty and such, but without impetuous its so hard to get them into CC, they don't need the enemy dodging away before they get there!
not really sure why your doomposting at this time tbh. even if every current profile is the finalized one - i still don't see how a hacker or two with access to pitchers is game ruining. Once again - these things are mitigated by the knights that do have stealth. boo hoo magisters lost it, so what. it's mitigated by a combat capable TO marker walking up and ruining their day and it's mitigated by having access to not only one by two drop troops, one of which is a killer hacker. I know you're pretty much always one of the first to shit on MO but seriously, try and keep an open mind before it even comes out - i dont even think Eciu is acting like this
Cutter is lacking stealth too. Overall, pano profiles seem to have some rather nasty hidden taxes. Bolts went back up in price and lost bioimmune for shock immune. Other factions are getting shooting and CC skills piled on for very cheap. Asawira cc monsters, jannisaries bs14 (also gained cubes) and muyibs gained skills and bs13. I'm left scratching my head at design and price at this point of PanO as a faction and models.
