I mean, if it's a case of added functionality instead of replaced functionality, I'm more than happy to be wrong and to consider all those concerns void. Someone please tell me I'm wrong. (although I would find it odd to see more nested functionality added to Strategos, I kind of get the point of adding something to L2 that would give it some persistent value when up against a L3 user)
I just reviewed the video, Carlos and the slide stated this was the ability of strategos level 2. It’s possible that Strat 3 models retain the deployment manipulation. As the levels of the skill appear to be independent abilities from eachother.
There are some minor changes to how Strategos affects reserve troopers, but being able to move a Trooper between Combat Groups does not replace your ability to hold back extra reserves. I think people may have missed Bostria saying 'also', and 'part of Strategos'. He wasn't reading out the whole rule.
I'm gonna go on a hitch here and say 'No' There's a bunch of reasons for it, but I think 'No' is enough :D
I’ve already played N3 lists that included both a med-tech with slave drones and a caliban engineer. Having an engineer waiting in the midfield that you can try to move towards is a great way to keep big models healthy.
Also, Calibans are just cool. Although I am glad that it sounds like Strategos 3 might be keeping its original effect. Combined with the generalized price cuts TAGs look to be getting for N4, I look forward to expanding into CA with the new edition with the biggest bestest girl at the helm.
It's been a long time since I played my CA, but am I missing something here..? Sure hope this is fake.
Hard to tell it is from beta version of army and many profiles are full of bugs. Ijw said that it is not actual unit data. They were testing functionality of the army 7, but maybe some of these changes we will see in actual N4. But there are some interesting things if they are true Vanguards - only visible change is heavy pistol and bts 3 - right now I am sceptic this will make them more desirable. Rasyats - they are now our Van Zant, they cost more points, specialist operative loadout Zerats same stats, but they have mimetism - 6 and sime other new loadouts hacker with lgl, minelayer loadout and so Umbras are still expensive and they don't have shock immunity, but they are all NCO Suryats are cheap Lt L2 option, immunity to ap, HRL profile has MSV L1 Avatar our only TAG costing more than 100 +1 command token. LT l2 version with only strategos l2 Raicho immunity critic new loadout with MHMG and HRL, version with heavy flamethrower has nco Sogarat NWI, bts 6 bs attack +1 dam, added pulsar feurbach +1 B NCO loadouts Dropsuit taryot - morat remote, parachutist, combat jump bs 11, cheap - b shotgun 22, paramedic 24, red fury 27 Overdron hrmc cost 63 points dodge ph 11 Xeodron around 52 points multi rifle and k1 combi changed to equivalent marksmen rifles Odesláno z mého Mi 9T Pro pomocí Tapatalk
Sigh. I will not comment on this stuff. I will wait until the actual N4 release to make comments. However, I honest to goodness believe the changes were good. I will not elaborate why, at least not yet.
Will try to take all the things we see atm with a grain of salt! But I really like the idea of giving Xeodrons marksmenrifles. Some pretty interesting changes to several of the units.
Well, Umbra might not be getting shock immunity (though they should) but damn Nourkias is a great character. That vorpal blade of his is going to snicker-snack a LOT. If the Samaritans don't come down in price a lot, its never going to be a choice of which Umbra to bring in a list.
The beta version of Army VII was accessible for a while, many of the profiles were clearly unfinished, unupdated, and unproofread, but it gives us an idea.
