Hi all! This is my first list in Corregidor sectoral. I've played a lot of missions from operation Icestorm, and decided to go with Corregidor. I have the minis from operation: Icestorm and beyond Icestorm. I also have the Iguana, and I bought Senor Massacre. I'm mostly going to be playing with around the kitchen table (especially because of COVID), so I'm kind of trying for a all around team rather than something specific. I know most lists are built around specific missions. I was hoping that all of you with vast knowledge will help me with fireteam compositions. I was thinking SEÑOR MASSACRE with 4 JAGUAR and a MOBILE BRIGADA HMG pain train. I was thinking of having a DAKTARI and JAZZ in the MOBILE BRIGADA fireteam. Would that be a good idea? Any constructive criticism would be great. I mostly play against Pano and ALEPH players.

I think the first thing to point out is that you can only have one Fireteam: Core at a time, you'd need to use Command Tokens to reform the teams.

If you take the Haris version of Mr. Deapool you'll be able to have a 3 member Haris Fireteam alongside your Alguacile Core.

Thank you. I didnt even think about that. Would that Alguacile core work? I wasn't sure if having a hacker in it would work or not. This would be the first time I messed with the fireteam rules.

It works fine. Jazz and Daktari can link with anyone. I've used a core with Brigada HMG, Alguacilles and a Dak. Later game I break off the Briagada, Dak and a specialist (Jazz or Alguacil forward observer) and run just those 3 to kill guys and do objectives, leaving behind the lieutenant.

Cool. I wasnt really war on the ARO and hacking in a fireteam link. How good is SEÑOR MASSACRE in actual play? He seems really strong (Plus he looks really ), but how good is he really?

His two main advantages are letting you create the Jag Haris, giving you a very reliable source of smoke to combo with the Intruder's MSV2. He also gives a source of eclipse smoke that lets you avoid enemy MSV2+.

He'll blend most things in CC, especially if he gets there with a friend or two, and is particularly good against heavy infantry and TAGs thanks to his EM and AP CCWs.

I would swap the Jags, Senor and the Lunokhod into group one and the Alguaciles Ltd plus the Intruder into group 2. That gives you max regular orders in group 1 to use on all your active pieces.

The Lunokhod is amazing. I love it. With it's DTWs and Koalas it does a great job defending your DZ but it is just as good on the attack. If the opponent leaves just one chink in his armor the Luno can go in with 6/4 and Climbing+ and pick of targets. It is especially deadly against fireteams or other grouped up troops since with C+ you can almost always find a potent attack vector to flame/shotgun at least 3 or 4 of their guys.

Thats awesome. I'm looking forward running this list against my friend that uses ALEPH. He just loves to group his units up. Mr. Deapool is going to run amuck all over the table.

He's a very useful but advanced toolkit. A bit pricey but he does do a lot of things. Go ahead and use him. N4 is right around the corner so we don't know what shape he'll be in afterwards.
Awful, but that was against it. It's nearly tabled me more than once with a few lucky armor rolls. Tomcat engineer to repair it and a hacking device to give it Marksmanship 2 can power it up a lot.

Thats true. I won't go on a spending spree just yet. Do you think the profiles will change that much?

Corregidor is getting a bunch of new toys, so I wouldn't be surprised if some units loadouts/abilities are switched around a bit (for example, wildcats are getting msv1). I would expect more of points adjustments though. I think that you'll always be safe with Intruders and units like Jaguars and Morans, but honestly I'm not sure.

Welcome to Nomads though! You made a good choice.

Welcome to the best Nomad sectorial! We will see in 10 days how many changes will there be, this is agreat time to join the Corregidor ranks.

We have seen some exciting new profiles and a vastly changed Wildcats. We do not what the future will bring, so I advice caution, but many of the staple troops will certainly be there.

We have a very nice Tactica thread in this forum, it is a nice read.

As for N3 lists, I typically run a Alguacile core like this:
    Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────
    [IMG]6
    TSYKLON Spitfire, Pitcher / Electric Pulse. (1 | 31)
MOBILE BRIGADA Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 40)
    ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    DAKTARI Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14)
    JAZZ FTO . (0.5 | 18)
[IMG] JAZZ Hacker Submachine Gun, Pitcher, Cybermine / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 18)

That is a ML Brigada for ARO duty, a Tsyklon to be buffed, Jazz can go in the link for Sixt Sense hacking through Repeaters or be the sixth-woman to reinforce the link when the MB goes down (and buff the Remote without triggering AROs with the whole link). The Dak can revive a fallen MB as well, very useful. One of the Alg can be the Lt if I have CAP to spare.

They are ALWAYS joined by at least one Bandit that will be my aggressive turn 1 midfield killer. Forget the fear of losing him/her and go at the enemy. They always pay off.
Then depending on the enemy or mission, an Intruder HMG with a coupe Jaguars for smoke support, if I have the SWC to spare I add Massacre for a Haris but I find him to be a glass-cannon and a bandit typically does more work for me.

Other than that... welcome again! Your stay will be enjoyable as long as you work hard for that oxigen compadre.

I read that Tactica, and it was a nice read. I like that link, and I might just use it. I had a feeling that he was a bit of a glass cannon, but it just seems to cool to pass up . Thank you to all of you, you made me feel very welcomed here to ask questions.

List looks good. What you want when starting out is a fairly straightforward list that doesn't have too many special rules or glaring weaknesses.

    Things to look out for:
    - Sr. Massacre has Shock Immunity. Remember that when getting shot with Shock Ammo. He also has E/M grenades which are worth throwing at a powerful enemy unit - they become Isolated (unless they are Veteran L1 or Morats) - stuck in their own Order Pool of 1, aka their parent's basement. TAGs, REMs and HI of any description are vulnerable to E/M and get immobilised. You can then do Death by Zamboni - ie take your sweet time over finishing them off.
    - The Lunokhod has a Repeater. You can use that to hack enemy units - but they can also use to hack your own Hackers, at a slight disadvantage. It also has D-Charges for objective duty and destroying hacked HI and TAGs. It can also has Minesweeper. Your first time out, consider taking the Akrylat-Kanone version; with Enhanced Reaction you can get off 2 shots of Adhesive ammo which could immobilise a rampaging TAG. You can also use Spotlight on something you want to kill with it; very effective combined with its Heavy Shotgun - maybe a tactic to try for later.
    - Pitchers have a bad habit of missing. Try not to depend on them too much.
    - Don't be tempted to use your Bandits to react in ARO when they are in Camo state. Rather sit tight and force your enemy to spend Orders trying to Discover them.

Always a good experience. The last time I used it, (admittedly a while ago now), I stole the Combined Army's AI Beacons using its Minesweeper ability then burned off the ODD on the Avatar before going to Scrap Valhalla. The rest of the team took down the Avatar, which, having no AI Beacons to transfer to, died an inglorious death beneath the boot of my Mobile Brigada.

All this was fantastic advice. It must have felt good to kill an Avatar with a Mobile Brigada.
