How do People carry their tags? I expect to see Tags a lot more in games with N4 and curious how people carry them.

Am I unique in the fact I carry my tags & remotes in a separate case from my regular models. Considering 95% of the time my lists are S2 models, I've been keeping my Non-S2 in a custom boxes for transport. With Tags becoming more common I think I'll be needing more of these. Unfortunately the base hugger for my tag was 3D printed, and I no longer have access to a 3D printer. I'm looking for alternatives.

The same way I transport my other models: metal box, with magnets in the model's base. Only the Maghariba requires a box dedicated to her, because with base and model's height it doesn't fit into the same boxes I use for other models.

I have a bunch of KR Multi cases with different pick & pluck foam sheets. The deepest one I have fits all my TAGs, 55mm REMs, and bikes. It's all modular sheets so even with the deepest foam in a case the other half still fits a few dozen S2 minis.

I used to carry them in metal tea boxes, separately from the troops (also in boxes, all magnetised). Lately i switched to magna racks from battlefoam and boy, they are awesome.

I use a Feldherr foam tray 60mm thick to carry my Scarface TAG together with all the S3/4/5 modellsI need to play as those trays consist of small precut quadrats you can remove ro get the shape you need.
I can put the TAG tray plus 2 trays for 32x S2 modells in a Maxi Bag plus for a whole army including all tokens and all smoke & direct templates I need.

I've been eyeing similar solutions (namely, A-Case) at some moment, they're really impressive indeed.
I stick to tea boxes, though, for two reasons:
    1. Those magnetic cases are pretty expensive.
    2. They are way too big for me- I don't need such a huge carrying capacity, and I couldn't fit such a big case into my EDC kit anyway.
Well, but different needs, different solutions :)

I use a KR Multi quarter case per sectoral, and have a quarter case for all my remotes. Then use the smaller custom case for game night when I need 1-2 models. I found it annoying having to have a larger tray in a sectoral box just a few models (HB for example). Also I carry my stuff in my laptop\messenger bag which I bring to work with me. It gets tosses around\rotated a lot and don't trust magnets for things I might flip. If they were plastic I might.

@Errhile The KR-multicase quarter is idea to put in EDC bag. The Fedderr also looks good. If you're like me you'll just need an option for non-S2 models.

Well, I took a tape measure, and I guess I could fit a single quarter-size KR-multicase into my EDC kit. Non-S2 option, however, wouldn't fit in with it. My current EDC is an 8-10 liter (depends on who you ask) Helikon Groundhog backpack.

As I said, different people, different needs :)

I do trust my magnets, the only two cases where I had problems were:
    1. a Gecko-sized non-CB TAG (back in the day it was my Iguana, as no Iguana model existed) that indeed got loose in transport - because I underestimated the number of magnets needed.
    2. an actual Gecko and a couple S2 Nomad models that went loose, when my backpack fell off a gaming table, full loaded, and hit the ground upside down.

I had a second case (see photo) for my tags which HAD my Iguana. I dropped it from 4 feet off the ground. The case survived... but it was more of rattle than a carrying case afterwards. My iguana broke into about 6-7 pieces, I still haven't had the heart to put it back together.

I also use rather small metal cans and magnetize my miniatures. Even Maghariba.
In few years of gaming across the county I had one situation, in which my backpack felt from table to the floor - with miniatures inside of it. Nothing happened except a slitghtly bend sword of Yasbir.

And I don't even want to change my option for transporting minis, especially not for A-Case and similar - I saw with my own eyes what can happen in an A-Case if one of the models gets loose and flies around the case. There is much to big space in them IMHO. In my cans every mini has its place and I use some sponge to make sure no figure will become a flying bullet ;)

I have a small microphone case with a foam tray for my smaller TAGs and S6 models (although it will fit a couple of S7s as well. It fits ALL of my Corregidor TAGs in one hit, as well as McMurderDoggo.
I have a variety of cases and trays, and just swap out trays as needed into the cases. I have 5 armies and 14 TAGs, but I don't usually need to carry more than 2 TAGs at a time usually.

I use the game plus a 3-inch pluck foam tray for tags and the 2.5 version for the regular guys never had a problem thus far.

like all my awkward sized models i have a huge stockpile of these and some extra foam from the mini boxes to pad their shape and reduce bending

Yeah, that's the one that's in my "microphone" case. 3 S7 TAGs fit alongside that tray (in a cushy foam liner).
Bulk storage uses some very old Battlefoam trays in a metal briefcase. This is the case that stores 5 armies when they are not in use.

Transport for games uses either a KoD strike case or an older Chessex tray case (just deep enough to fit a 55mm base).
