QK is among the out of production factions that won't be there on launch but they plan to add before the end of the year.
I know, I just hope It's not permanently retired. I liked them. They got retried because there was a lack of play. But IMO that was because when everyone else got boosts and wildcards they got left as or had a bit of a nerf (loss of Azrail fireteam). Basically everyone else got something new & shiny, so they got played more.
CB have stated several times they don't ever plan to remove the rules for a faction from the game, even as recently as the White Noise podcast yesterday. When a faction is "retired" it only applies to catalogue items, not rules.
And you've been told many times that what they're "stating" doesn't really mean anything when the retired factions never actually come back. How many years has it been since SAA was retired now? Merovingia? This isn't a hard concept to grasp. Them "retiring" factions and not actually doing anything with them creates no real impetus for them to actually do anything with them, since their whole schtick is continually claiming these things get retired because of poor sales or interest. They're not a public company and we have zero real insight beyond what they deign to tell us, and even then it's a bit hard to take at face-value since they could just tell us whatever the hell they want and we can't prove otherwise.
And look how well SEF came back! It’ll also be interesting to see if the Para-Commandos and Mirage-5 in Kosmoflot accelerate the return for FRRM. Two and a half-ish years on the shelf seems good, maybe something in the New Year will work, make it an even three years.
Hate to say it but you are right, nobody expected cosmoflot, and honestly if you wanted to satiate the fluff of ariadna into space, make it mrrf. You could still create the armata 4, volkalaks etc.. just make them available in multiple sectorals. Armata 4vis in french space force and tak, volks are french space force and CHA. Easy fluff additions that work. Also why do panO, ariadna get 5 sectorials, new mercs come out all the time, but haqq only has 2. Theyre supposed to be the 3rd biggest power. And yeah we do have qk still, but barely. Itll play fine, but hasent been touched in a long time.
Yj has 3 that have been constantly updated and added to. QK has only gotten updates through mercenaries getting updates for their own sectorials.
It's good to know that Ariadna is the fourth power going by this standard. Aleph and O12 will be tied for #1. Can we go back to be excited or at least bored instead of pissing all over everything?
I really don't expected a TAG in hassasin. Not really. So I was quite surprised by what corvus did, but I will not be the one who complain about it. Checking what we will have in "hassasin" if the profiles don't change too much, we will play the "old hassasin" style or the "new one". And here I'am not talking about the TAG only. The new profiles and the mixed options in fireteams (it is logic to think this a thing most of sectorial will have in N4, and not only a hassasin exclusive) open a new window to "how to play haquiss". We should wait yet for what N4 bring to us in the general rule level and what in the others armies level. I'am pretty excited about what it will come. For the moment I think CB is doing the things well.
The new TAG gets the ability to duo, the viable options are Govads, Asawiras and Lasiq. Is douing an option for the experienced players? Gesendet von meinem ASUS_I01WD mit Tapatalk
Only the Wildcards will be able to join the TAG. Concerning possible Duo's...if profiles mostly stay the same, I guess Leila would be the obvious option for me. But since Hacking Devices are in for a big change, Leila might not be that obvious anymore. FD 1 with Yara could be nice, when using the Spitfire loadout. Maybe even with Yasbir for CC protection. It all depends so much on how everything turns out to be.
As emperorsaistone pointed out, the options are another Shakush, Yasbir, Leila, Yara Haddad, a Muyib, or an Asawira. Of those, the standouts I see for supporting the Shakush are: Leila, to threaten anyone trying to hack your TAG Yara, to both forward deploy the Shakush and provide MSV2 to help against anyone using smoke to either hide from it or get up to it Muyib LGL, to provide smoke coverage, especially for the AP spitfire profile I dont know if it's worth it, but I'll also give special mention to Yasbir. He can pretend to be Leila to scare off hackers, while actually protecting you from getting locked in combat with a warband.
Thanks to the insights, I totally forgot the wildcarts... Gesendet von meinem ASUS_I01WD mit Tapatalk
Looking on it with N3 eyes, yes, absolutely. The profile is really amazing. But we will have to wait a little in oder to see the "whole picture". It will funny if I play TAG in hassasin more than I do when I play Panoceania :D
Most likely, TAGs on the whole will be posted as aggressively as the Shakush. This will probably be offset by changes to hacking, which we know are coming. Of course, we don't know the details on either.
Am i confused then? Cause correct me if im wrong but when JSA left ISS got some updates, then Invincibles came in to replace JSA and added lots of new stuff. Then other new characters got added from defiance, aristeia, etc... then yall got WB with code 1, and Adil + other new character from Betrayal and Adil is also in ISS right? Its not like huge updates but Yu Jing has 3 up to date sectorals, and arguably QK hasent gotten anything. Although i have a feeling Yara will be added to QK aswell, and i guess we got leila too. So its not as bad, but i just feel like haqq has been an after thought to CB until recently. Either way, back to the topic, i cant wait to run the shakush. I feel like duo with yara then drop her off on the objective and continue solo is definitley something id try.
