Okay, it's quite possible I missed something, but I'm wondering: is there a specific date for when N4 goes live? A date when the new edition officially premieres, becomes the default version of the game etc.? I mean, the preorders for N4 closed on August 28th, but it doesn't mean the game is out, does it? Or did I miss something and we're officially in the N4 era already? *headscratch*

Nah, I wouldn't want Infinity to go away! In fact, I think that Eternity should have nothing to do with the Human Sphere - it should stand as a completely separate game. The only things it should share with Infinity are: skirmish scale and awesome sculpts completely different from what CB's British Competition is doing :)
Just my pipe dream I keep bringing up in hopes it will somehow make it real... ;) Wait, it's a meme now? I thought it was only my personal joke. Have I started something, by chance..? Oh, not necessarily *medieval* fantasy. And not necessarily "fantasy Infinity", at least not in the sense of how WH40K used to be sci-fi WFB. More like taking Infinity's basic approach (i.e. skirmish scale, less insane concepts than WH40K and its imitators etc.) and building a fully separate fantasy game around them. Anyway, in all seriousness, I'm really looking forward for that announcement tomorrow, whatever it might be!

There was a question about a fantasy game during the White Noise Bostria interview and the response was basically "Oh my goth, OK, that would be lovely, OK, but N4 and Defiance were demolishing, OK, so not something that's happening soon, OK, lovely"
Interesting... Oh well, I guess it's up to someone else to make such a game. Now... how does one design a miniature wargame, exactly..? *goes away to think on Eternity rules* *can't stop think of Unnaturality: Horror Skirmish, either*
There's also Godslayer by Megalith games, was a pretty good skirmish system I recall. I think they're still kicking.
One of the many D&D 3e products that flooded the market was called XCrawl I think it was. Basically sort of a dungeon crawl for TV format, in a modern world. Like a Running Man gameshow. Though the setting was Modern& Magic doing the TV show (so you'd basically just be doing a D&D dungeon crawl with some added rules and stuff), it would be neat to have a dungeon crawl show in Infinity that is played out like Aristeia. It's just an update video, so hopefully talking about N4 launch and October products, but probably nothing major. Though, there was the "At the end of the year, we will release a new game - something light and fun." from the "what to expect in 2020", but doubt they'd take away N4's press for something else. (Or maybe that's the Aristeia arena add on thing.)
hey @Koni , what time we would expect the Studio update? The new game scheduled for end 2020 was conditional "if its possible and if all go well". And nothing was teased in gencon, so probably is not gonna happen
