I think ALEPH will continue it's normal behavior of being friendly to everyone but Nomads as it's goals are not affected by the concept of nationality.

 

Did they show this without any concrete info on what people already using JSA in their YJ should do? If this causes mass rage then I am afraid its all on CB.

Its probably in Aleph's better interest if YJ remains a worthy challenger to PanO and give the AI more to bargaining power and bargaining motive.

 

Right now I'd bet money on certain JSA units being Mercs and available in Vanilla YJ. Probably not Keisotus but I don't see Ninja's going anywhere.

To be fair though, this means I can mostly focus on my JSA for the time being. Sucks that they are dropping out of Vanilla Yu Jing since I did want to start them but this is better for me for now.

 

Considering that Ninjas and the Oniwaban are technically mercs, I can see them still having profiles in Yu Jing. Though not sure for Shinobu Kitsune.

 

I reckon they'll either still have access to Ninjas as Mercs or more likely there are still "loyalist" Japanese in Vanilla (or more likely their families are held hostage so they continue to serve and train YJ forces as before).

 

So who else might move to Unaligned? I'm thinking the Haq Bikers will as they also don't really fit in.

 

Only Saito Togan is a technically a merc. Making them mercs means a lot for Soldiers of Fortune play.

This is super exciting, and we know there's a new Oniwaban sculpt so well at least see elite ninja in NA2 JSA....just after I finished converting Nakadai into a new scale oniwaban

 

Interesting. Just reread the copy and it says "Providing some new sculpts of already known units" so does that mean some repacks or just wonky translation issue?
