Boom! Some quick notes: Dogface skin for Moonchild heavily implied for eventual release. New expansion is the new board, tokens, rules, and cards only. A bundle will be available. Has objective cards. Can play with objective cards as the only way to score or as a supplement to the usual ways of scoring. In the first style, the cards are public knowledge and in the second you keep it secret. Special randomized spaces of some sort. Can displace, cause damage, apply statuses, etc. Mad traps and crazy koalas can deployed. Stop asking about aliens in Aristeia! 2 aristos per player. Release date/preorder announced later, this was primarily just an announcement of the expansions existence. agree the Parvati is sweet too bad she is not a general release I doubt I will be hitting a tournament anytime soon with the pandemic thing going on
I totally second this. Muchas gracias a todos. Is it me or we didn't get a release date? Nor for AGL4? November at least? Or could we hope for October the new expansion?... so hyped by all the cool new things to do while playing !! So many good ideas with the objective cards, the crazy koalas (but aren't they forbidden weapons? Lol)
Yeah, no release date yet. They said this was just an announcement that the expansion exists. And it wasn't super clear but it sounded like no Prime Time till AGL5. With just the basics, there is a lot for us to speculate about. Like, they mentioned having cards for the first 8 aristos but what about everyone else? Regardless, this seems like a great addition to the game. Being able to play with 4 makes this a much easier boardgame night pick.
Prime Time will release later this year (if Covid let them). About AGL5 they said that there is a chance that Prime Time will be included in AGL alongside whit the 1v1 format. So is possible to have a Multiplayer competitive experience.

They said that they won't release changes on Aristos before AGL5... but nothing is sure at the moment. The game and meta will change with AGL4 rules regarding tokens and so how they can be used and suffered by our lovely Aristos.
Remember that 6-players DeathMatch will be published after. Inside PT you'll find a simplified version for 4 players to learn the basics.
3 OR 4 players. Not meaning to be pedantic, but it's a BIG selling point that Aristeia! is now a game for 2-4 players. That flexibility is important.
@-V- If I understood well, there will be Standard decks into Prime Time. But how many? If the mod Deathmatch for 6 players is released after PT, would it be possible to buy Standard Tattics decks without buying a core box? Gracias
Two of them. The 6-player DeathMatch will be published after PT if, and only if, we have enough time to develop it (hope so). This 6-player version is intended to be fast, so we'll reduce the number of Tactics (there are some options to test).
