So if I'm reading this correctly, the new MSV1 rules mean that the Grenzer Sensor will now be able to triangulated fire through smoke at a flat -3 penalty up to 48". That pretty badass - it's still only a B3 combi, but conferring that -6 to shoot back through smoke could be useful against lone AROs in cover with vismods.
I think the MSV1 thru smoke will be mostly used as an ARO mechanic or against people using smoke defensively. In general passing out more WB counters to factions. Kinda sucks for my Phalanx but overall sounds good to me.
On the bright side for your Phalanx, that's more people who might rely on hard ARO to stop warbands and be surprised by Eclipse Smoke.
SP picks up a bunch of other stuff elsewhere; dodge move in active dodge replacing change face and engage CT suppressive fire ODD being a skill now means it is probably no longer fire sensitive
Looks like the new guy is confirmed as CJC and is called an invader...from the interplanetario stream
not sure if the mention was about the new guy we spoke before in this thread, but for sure they said CJC will receive love in the near future, compared to Bakunin that has been said it will have to wait. As something Carlos said, it will be Corregidor than Tunguska, than Bakunin. Where also the Zond will get a new sculpt ... and this is something I am really looking forward for. Overall, all the talk has been made about Corregidor, it sounds really promising. I would speculate that something will come around points reduction for certain units, even if has been announced a general update of the sectorial. That was probably the most exciting part of the seminar, for me.
I think he was more talking about model refreshes, Bakunin is majority CAD sculpts now so Corregidor is up next.
I gotta say I'm extremely hyped for the new releases and designs for Nomads. New Wildcats look abosutely fantastic!
Tunguska got a ehm cheerleaders, cheerkillers. I wonder what role they fill. Warband? Defensive role? New designs for Corregidor.
