This is my Namurr named Aaliyah

Removed her rifle with a soft toy bunny, to make a "joker" model out of her, so i can choose between Spitfire and rifle :)

The bunny has a Origin story for her, need to write it down ;)

INFINITY JSA: Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot Conversion Guide

    Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot Conversion Guide
It's been a long time since I worked on my favorite army, JSA! The Bootleg O-Yoroi Pilot is one of my all time favourite Infinity models. It is pure cheesecake mecha, both sexy and deadly. A lovely model to be sure and one of the reasons I wanted to collect both JSA and Infinity. However I was too exhausted after modeling and painting my first O-Yoroi to have a go at it in the past, especially trying to convert it like the wonderful Senior Giladez's version that we are all familiar with. A couple of years later, an additional army or two, plus a global pandemic as well as the model going out of production sending me into a panic buy (again!) meant that it was finally time to give this model conversion a crack.

The guide is way too long for the forum but check it out at:

    Great work!
It also looks partially leg-less to me ;), I hope it does stand solidly and does not bend over or something?

Still it is a neat idea. Especially if you lost a body part or two the miniature can still be used. I might try something like this the next time I work on a camo troop.

@Alri - Very interesting idea and very precise execution :) I'm just not sure if the two - layers clothes work for me, but it can change after painting. So good luck with finishing this project!

There is big Pin in the stand-on Leg so hopefully should be fine (atleast looks ok now).

What do you mean by two-layer cloth? The sculpt of the Cape itself? Kinda had to follow the sculpt when merging the mesh to the model, But I think the Paint Job will solve it.

Yeah, I thought it would look more "realistic" if the miniatures was smoothly going into the meshed version. Still I also think the paintjob can make it look stunning.
And at first I thought you drilled the mini itself ;)

The transaction is actualy smooth i just had to sculpt some part back which in one point look like another layer, but that will be smooth when the color is applied and the transition curve is defined

Does it count as a conversion if it's almost 100% greenstuff? 'Unknown' Ranger for USARF. IMG_20200809_080736.jpg IMG_20200809_080822.jpg

@Sergei Simonov Considering this model is all greenstuff I have to say that you have amazing sculpting skills. All those hours & failures in practicing have certainly paid off.

Can anybody tell me, if the head of the actual asawira is separate from the torso?

    Which one?

The two old sculpts - nope, head is cast together with the torso.
The new Spitfire - haven't handled him, so I can't tell, sorry.

Connected to the body for the new one aswell.

But looks "easy" to cut off.

Don‘t know for what or if I will use this miniature, but it’s at the moment my most loved miniature from the infinity range
