And the event has already come to the end !!! Congratulations to all for the participation, the good atmosphere and the show offered !!! :D A double congratulations to @seiya as winner of the tournament !!! We will return soon with more information for the next edition. While we work on the statistics we attach you the final table updated!
Wow that was really cool ! Thank you @fictor for organising it. I hope I can be raffled once again next edition lol Congratulations to @seiya
Greetings comrades! We have already passed the hangover that the final of the AllStars left us with that last turn of heart attack. The time has come to analyze a little the data that this tournament leaves us. PART 1. We'll start with the important stats about the MOD. We were especially afraid that the A-B-A-B-A-B-A-B choice was not entirely fair. But if we analyze the winner of the total games we obtain a very fair graph. We have the least equitable distribution in the round of 16, with 63% of victories for the one who chose second. Is that why the TOP8 did not go very far? Who knows... We will now move on to the issue of bans. If we made a team of 4 aristos using the most banned it would be the following (not bad ...). The conclusion is simple, people hate Gaia. If Gaia had been able to participate, it is very likely that the statistics that will be shown later would have been very different ... Or perhaps there has been one more ban for fear of the unknown? Who knows... The choice of Aristos leaves us with the following information: In blue the number of victories in red the number of defeats, the sum of both the times that the aristos have been used in the total number of games. Several things are appreciated, below we have the team of 4 aristos with the aristos that have been chosen the most times (not necessarily playing the 4 as a team), the 4 most chosen individually. It seems like the latest expansion, DoubleTrouble, is here to stay ... We see how the most used Aristos match the aristos with the most individual victories, adding that Gata tied with LeiGong (which may have quite a bit of logic). It is important to note that LeiGong and Moonchild have just arrived and we still have to learn how to play with and against them, they are also among the 4 with the most individual defeats. Here also appears the fearsome Hexxer, she has been with us since the game came out, perhaps we have already learned how to play against her? Who knows... Then the team with the 4 aristos with the best% of victories. Coincidentally coincides with just the team with which @seiya played the final !!! -> For this statistic, only Aristos who have played at least 9 games in total have been taken into account. And even so together I see them a winning team. -> For this statistic, only Aristos who have played at least 8 games in total have been taken into account. And then the saddest part of all, there were 3 Aristos without any interaction, nor were they banned, nor were they chosen in any of the 23 games of the event. Hippolita was chosen in a preliminary round playoff game, but that game has not been taken into account for statistics. What happens to those 3 Aristos? Another curious fact, all the Aristos that have been chosen only 1 time, lost their game. Although as a positive fact we have Eclypse, who only participated in 2 games, but won in both. And up to here this first part of statistics, part 2 corresponds to a small study on the distribution of the Aristos according to their expansions in the victories and defeats of Assault and Gates of Fire (one scenario from side A and another from side B ). Give me a few days. I hope you enjoy this data and that you draw the conclusions that you think appropriate with them. A greeting!
Indeed we love that kind of data. Poor Fiddler... Burning state is so random sometimes And Kozmo may compete for being the best Aristo whatever stat is taken into account lol Thank you really much @fictor for giving us more reasons to love or hate Aristos Thank you also for having reported it here in English. We are waiting for part 2 then
And at the end enjoying holidays, so there is no excuse for not writing that promised second part! The initial idea was to do a small comparative study between the aristos choices, according to the expansion to which they belong, in the first two missions of the event where we have more results (16 players). Assault and Fire Gates. Before we start, we are going to make some clarifications, since in the Hexatactics chapter where I commented a little on what I wanted to do, I received some very accurate comments from a listener that I think is quite important to be clear about. 1. Of a total of 47 games in which core aristos were used in bullfighting, 39 of them were Miyamoto, WildBill, Hexxer or Gata. So we could practically understand the core group, like those four (so the comparison is not against 8). 2. Hippolita was not used so Reckless Hearts is all AXL. And so with Mendoza and Dart, they didn't get pics so their group doesn't count them. 3. Also keep in mind that all these elections are determined by initial bans and that they also have the MOD Zlavin, they do not represent a 100% free election. But they are the results obtained according to the specific characteristics of this event. And now without wanting to hurt any statesman, we move on to the charts. Let's start with the general election distribution in Assault. And now we will compare the graph of the formation of the winning teams with that of the losers. As notable differences we can see how the winning teams have a higher% of HumanFate aristos (Prysm, Eclypse, Bixie). And there is also less use of smoke & mirror in the winning teams. Coincidence or causation ??? At the moment they are only opinions. We now turn to Gates of fire. As differences from the Assault graph, we see that there is more use of the brother's expansion. And in this case, it seems that a greater use of double trouble and smoke and mirrors influences victory. We are not going to expand much further on drawing conclusions and we leave these data for each to treat as they see fit. Something very interesting was also discussed in the Hexatactics program with @mikgar . If we could classify each aristo with one or more roles (tank, support, melee damage, ranged damage, scorer, displacer / setter, ...) we could obtain data on how the Aristeia team formations are and how a mixed formation influences victory or if only damage is influential. We open that debate so that in the future we can have that classification of aristos. It would be very interesting. @HarlequinOfDeath from his blog provided us with a very visual summary table of each aristo that perhaps can help to devise that classification by rol. I invite you to stop by their website that although it is in German, GoogleTranslate helps you for free! : D http://arachnet.de/states-controller/ Greetings to all and hope you enjoy the summer the best that you can while respecting the measures by COVID-19
