I did a little test with my actual terrain project :) Here is a link, hope you enjoy it :) https://www.instagram.com/p/CALR39FoKP5/?igshid=lt6uijg7gr00
The graffiti and posters give a proper slum-ish look. Architecture is also fine. I do not like that square-box caterpillar truck. The rest of vehicles are too detailed and that truck sticks out like a sore thumb. The dropship looks familiar, like a cross of a Mantic Interceptor with something else. What is it?
Thx for your critique :) I just take what I had .. its not the final act just trying out how it looks, got some new vehicles in the pipeline with more details :) ... and the dropship is a Mantic Interceptor with 3D Printed Turbines on the sides :)
I searched around in the net under "cyberpunk" and look around, after that I put em in Photoshop and did some commercial out of em with my own verses.. you can find my posters in a other thread here in the forum if you like em.. they are rdy 2 print on a A4 Paper
Did Today a little test with some painted Minis to see how it fits :) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAvHHqMIOjj/
wow those are awesome how do you do those white marking/graffiti ? the sleep well transparent thing is a great idea
Thanks mate.. i use some cheap Acrylic Pens for the Graffiti.. my wife buyed it some time ago for our children.. i test em and its works well :) she got em from Amazon
For example Posca PC-1MR, handful of strong colors. Or poor man's solution for white, a correction pen (Tipp-Ex, etc). OK, better for traffic marks, as it is thicker than acrylics. Graffiti brands have refillable markers, but I think the thinnest is PC-3M or at best PC-1M (not MR) sized.
Did a little upgrade, some new stuff from microartstudio 3 food booth, 3 cars and 2 trucks :) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBDsZ4_IUb6/?igshid=1vw4q0es6c0co
Little update, finished up the MAS Bus Station https://www.instagram.com/p/CBTOtyRIdZT/?igshid=nlwvz0bq0aqf
Very nice work. Those MAS buses were always out of stock whenever I wanted to get one, and by the time they had come back, I had moved on to something else. (like finding a die-cast bus instead).
I think you got the look. With more litter on the streets if would be even better, though not very practical. Seems like you spent a lot of time adding graffities.
Thx, I buyed it some weeks ago second hand from a infinity player in the original box :) Thx mate :) Yeah i was thinking about too, to make here and there some litter, but i came to the same spot that is not practical in the game flow :) would be great for a diorama
This looks great and is very similar to the look I want for my terrain, thanks for the inspiration! (Also thanks for for costing me £12.99 as I've just ordered some acrylic pens )
Looking really, really good! Like everyone else I love the graffiti. One of the things I like best is the layered nature of it... graffiti piles up in layers like sediment over time. That and the weathering, and the great signage on your buildings, really make the scene work.
Thanks mate, glad to hear that iam a inspiration for your future work :) the acryl pencils will do their work, i liked to work with them on the terrain and you got a better feeling Thanks a lot :) i was a bit inspired by our red light District here in Hamburg (Reeperbahn / St.Pauli) that helps alot on such a work
