Hello everyone! I'm a new Infinity player (O-12) and I'm here to share with you with my works and motivate myself to paint more. And let's get started with... not actually my O-12, but with Alephs' Maruts, my last commision. The friend of mine ask me to paint it when heard that I'm now playing Infinity. It's large but simple - only 5 elements VS 10-15 on the regular model to paint. And I really like to paint metal miniatures! Thank you Corvus belli for the best miniatures on the market! Hello Folks! I finally finished my Sirius girl and took normal pictures of her, Kappa (painted 3 month's ago) and two remotes painted for me by our local painter (because I'm lazy to paint rems ) . So I'll start to post with Kappa. First of my senate forces :)
Aaaand my favourite model of all O-12, actually she was the reason why I chose O-12 as my first faction in Infinity. The only pain was her face - so round, that she look like angry baby The special pleasure was to paint tactical stone! It's so fancy now!
Awesome paint jobs, the details on faces are impressive, as well as managing all those colors together with quality.
So It's time to post my rems. Well, actually not mine because they were painted by our local painter Maxim (btw check his inst. he painting awesome ). I really like little Azorius signet on the side. And I need your advice. I have a really tought thoughts about color of LoS arc. Blue or black? Blue is nice but it's draw attention from miniature. Besides, miniatures already overfilled with details and that bright blue arc is too much, IMHO. Black is not so fancy, but it's strict and stylish and also looks like part of the base border. For myself I choose black, but I really want to hear your thoughts. Keep in mind, also, that on the table blue is not so bright while black is simple readed because of contrast.
Those REMs are jawbreaking indeed. About the LoS color: it's not the blue itself but the lighting effect that draws attention, so you may try a simple blue color (with no effect) or a less bright effect. Still, black is great. If think the LoS details are a bit toned down with it and may deserve to be a bit much visible.
Hello guys! Happy Easter to everyone! I finally finished my Sirius hound, so now you know how I imagine O-12 glue xD It's blue with pink sparkles! Oh and of course - little Azorius signets on shoilder pads.
amazing! your gold and ice blue give so much character to it, specially with the custom patterns you did accross the model.
Thank you commander! Happy you like it! :) Thank you for such a kind words!) I thought a lot about how to paint those boring texturless parts
Hello chaps! it's me again, and I have something very cool to show you! When I first time saw Alpha I was veeeeeery disappointed. I waited for something like the Andromedas cyber-beast, but we received that dumb pseudo-Dakini with lazy-sculpted-arms.So I decided to made my own Alpha. And since I'm painting o-12 in Azorius style and I really like Andromedas beast, I decided to create Azorius sphinx. The problem was in the wings. There's very few cool and realistic looking sci-fi wings, and even less those which fit into the Infinity style, but I remeber, that in Overwatch exist the best sci-fi wings, 100% fit into Infinity. So I asked my friend to print a couple of wings on his 3d printer. The result is here! I really like the result, hope you like it too! You can find 360-video in stories in my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/grey_kardinal/
wow, incredible model and conversion! really like the idea of a quantronic Sphinx as a squad command.
Nice idea! Where did you get the Wings from? I really dig your blending and colour choice :) What blending technique do u use?
No no no xD That's the guard for my Alpha unit Thanks commander! :) The Alpha dude will also be slightly converted, I didn't like shotgun and the pose and will give him an spear. Thank you man!) Ehm, layering and some glazes, I guess. The blending is actually my weak spot, I really want to take some lessons from Masters like Rodrigo Akore, or Sergio Luque, or Lan, or some other guru who knows how make smooth blending quick and nice :(
aww shame - but rethink this Butt leg ;) https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/bootleg/lizard-pilot it would ad ODD to a mini XD
