White Noise and NFB

I just realized White Noise (and Mirror ball) has NFB. Am I correct to assume that this would cancel the (for example) ODD of a model in the zone?
The wiki for NFB says "Activating any NFB [...] automatically cancels and deactivates any other NFB Special Skills"

Can it be used offensively then as well? Catch an ODD-trooper in a zone, thereby canceling thir ODD, and then shoot them?

It applies to the user of White Noise, not to the zone they create!
