Really anxious to learn what combined Army units are in code one. These next three days are going to be rough.
Interesting CA has only 22 unit options when O-12, PanO and Yu Jing has 25. Also only 2 units that aren't part of SEF and both are characters.
Yes, I know. I was speaking about Ko dali and Nourkias, both of them won't be part of SEF. I expect Dukash is new spec op character.
Amusingly, I just purchased Ko Dali to top off an order I was placing. Finally something that worked out right! (well, right-ish) Wonder what a Crusher is.
The CA list is interesting, combined with the “release plan” for code one. The Tag will clearly be the Sphinx as expected. Should the support box actually contain four new models, it indicates resculpts for Dr Worm and bots, plus maybe caliban engineer. Lots of characters to choose from for the hero blister The three man booster packs just about have to include a tensho, a noctifer and a jayth. If each unit only provides one sculpt, that leaves three open slots to include more profiles or some characters. I am excited for the CA release schedule.
Could just be a repackage of the worm, with an added engineer type. The Yu Jing Support is a simple repackage. Think maybe the Nox pack is one of the two booster packs? Do we know if they are actually 3 man or is that just a symbol?
The new Yu Jing support pack that's being released is new sculpts. (At least for the human figures) Edit: Never mind, I've totally lost track of what's "new" and what's "old". This came out a year or two ago and is getting rebranded for Code 1.
I hope it's a resculpt. The med-tech came out in what, 2015? I feel like he looks goofy alongside the very slick new Shasvastii. Plus, I assume the med-techs do stuff like surgical alterations for speculo assets. If you're trying to stay incognito and infiltrate the human sphere, it's gonna be a lot harder when you're dragging a 6 foot tall surgical worm and news correspondent around.
I'm a big fan of the medchanoid and slave drone, but I do recognize that they represent a previous iteration of the Combined Army design aesthetic. If they come out with a new sculpt in a support pack I might pick it up, but I might also just stick with what I have if I like it better.
On the table top made interview with Bostria about C1 and he said that there are some hidden stuff for C1 that they will release later. So we can expect some surprises. I personally hope that it means we will some Morats or other CA things in C1.
