Long time lurker here in the miniatures section, felt I should probably contribute something. Since N2 I've wanted to tackle a Druze force, because the models and fluff are fantastic, so I set about getting the miniatures and such put together over the last few months and began painting.

Here are my Druze and Brawlers so far, mostly complete. I'll go in later and grab some of the little details like buckles and stuff later. The goal is to get everything tabletop ready in hopes that we can get back to playing this summer.

Since the mainline infantry are pretty well sorted (old Druze box, new Druze box, LE Hacker, Jethro, Arslan, Brawler box, LE Brawler hacker, LE Brawler Uprising), I am onto the horde of specialist troops, obvious Hunzakuts, remotes, and TAGs.

To that end I have a WIP conversion of the Anaconda, a little arm repositioning and an Al Fasid HMG (copying a conversion I saw elsewhere) and we have it!

I'll continue updates as I go. I hope you guys enjoy this topic as much as I enjoy working on them. I am hoping to get all 3 merc TAGs (Anaconda HMG, Anaconda Spitfire/Stallion Jack, Scarface) and the Peacemaker built this week, and maybe the Bashis, Hunzakuts, Cube Jaegers, and assorted support for the Druze. My final goal is a full faction (everything they can possibly have, each with it's own build), so this might take a while.

    Thanks for looking!

My favorite army with my favorite TAG! They look really good. The Hunzacuties and Bashis are invaluable and are never a bad choice. Brawlers are a necessity and look great. Authorized Bounty Hunters are terrific profiles and offer a lot of room for creativity in modeling and kitbashing your own ABHs.
    Look forward to seeing more.

Since you like Druze so much here is a tactics page that TheDiceAbide made on his blog.

Here is another tactical take on the sectorial.

Well, it's been a busy couple weeks, and with all the time locked indoors I surprisingly got very little painting done.

That said, the mechanized section of my Druze force, and some additional specialists and additions for expanding toward Ikari got primed, and hit with some green. It's a little more vibrant formula than what I used on my Druze, but I like it and I think it helps pick up the larger surfaces of my bots.

Not a real thrilling update, and I don't have pictures of my infantry (all on little grabby arms to hold their pins), but it's progress.

An update is an update regardless of how exciting it is. And progress is progress regardless of how small is it.

Stopping point for the day. Hit them with lowlights and highlights, a wash to bring it down a little, and started some brush work on Scarface.

Additionally, you can see my super original Anaconda HMG conversion.

    Hopefully some more updates tomorrow.

Scarface is nearing completion. Need to have his base completed, and a little cleanup, and his MK12s finished. Very happy with the result so far. Working on the center torso at the moment, and the pilot's arms.

    EDIT:

Some changes, edge highlights, etc. Pretty much complete at this point. Unless I attempt the unit insignia.

Really nice stuff! I am really curious about your REM-collection and the big groupshot in the end!

I prefer the Haqq REMs to PanO. So what you see there are two Fugazi proxies, some Pathfinders, a Clipper, Peacemaker, and my EVO.

I just managed to find another chicken remote to use as a third flashbot in QK if I expand that way.

Love your battlereports by the way! Lots of inspiring stuff.

    Bonus WIP Anaconda

They work pretty good and fit better than the PanO-REMs from my point of view. What makes everything special to me is the unique scheme with the yellow parts on significant positions. But I don't know if I have ever seen a painted Druze-Peacemaker. He probably will be my next project.

Expanding into QK is a good decision and with three Fanous it gets even better!

Thanks man, always nice to hear that!
Hopefully your lovely Anaconda will work better than in my experience with it!

I'm sure the Anaconda will disappoint, but I part of my isolation project is completing a full DBS faction. I have another Anaconda in a box still that I need to convert a spitfire for. Trying to make myself a Stallion Jack/Spitfire Anaconda.

My Anaconda with HMG nears completion. Just needs gloss varnish, insignia, and a satin varnish to finish up.

The journey continues with a swarm of Druze REMs. Still in progress, any suggestions on what to do with the Haqq remotes "Ears" or whatever those little panels are on the backs of them?

I painted the inner areas of these ears yellow and let the outer parts green, what worked out quite good for me and still keeps them enough haqqislamish.
Maybe the front-armor of the Peacemakers legs would turn out good in yellow, too?

I think I'll do that for the Peacemaker. And his little friend.

Not a lot of progress the last couple days. Started working on the remotes again before putting them in the case and preparing to do their bases. I figured why not take a nice group shot!

That looks great! I can't tell you why, but they are transmitting scaryness, what is exactly what they should!

Thanks, I need to get back in and touch up the faces on some helmets, but that's for after everything is "Tabletop Quality". I'm hoping they can get put to good use, I only got a couple of games in with them before COVID killed gaming.

No big update today, just got the yellow on the REMs touched up and based them. Still need fire lines, but I'm really happy with how it's all coming together.

As someone who's next army is going to be Druze too, I just want to say these are coming along great! Keep up the work! What's next on the list?
