Thoughts on Gunnar Trollhunter from Dire Foes

He goes in the pile with Bipandra and Uma, unfortunately.

 

Like wut ? CC23 with MA3 and mono is actually better against almost all targets than a CC23 +NBW + Berserk.

Especially if first guy has NWI and second only Doggged.


Not to mention all the additional things Amil brings (and Gunnar not).

 

He's yet another highly situational and ultimately often not particularly good Dire Foe.

Pity.

 

At the VERY least he is more inspired than Quinn. The most boring profile of all dire foes I think.

 

All this time, we've been assuming the "Dire Foe" part referred to them being sworn enemies...nope!

It's because their rules are awful.

I would be more surprised if we hadn't already noticed the O-12 discount. They're notably hiding points on several profiles that are out of whack with what we understand.

The wonders of Impetous, and Combi vs MULTI

 

He has dual combis. Which is supposed to be super expensive.

Ajax has them arm 5 and high ph and extra full wound and them nwi all the expensive stuff

 

Well apparently dual combi doesn't cost that much (or anything) and Impetous seems to give quite a large discount. Or it's just ALEPH bias :P .
