They are not nazis. WTF people.
Where do you have anything about white supremacists or white pride in lore about them? There are two short lore bits about them saying that they are anti-yujing ultranationalists. The only thing close to this is sentence where you can find that they are defending PanO moral and racial superiority. But even that is not saying anything about them being white supremacists. Stop making fuss about your headcanon.
They are living on the planet where their country is in constant conflict with another country. There is nothing strange that such ideology developed there.

Well, no they didn't. In the RPG core book, it is said that the languages mostly spoken on Neoterra are Italian, Spanish, Hindi and English. English because one continent (Lux) was the home of the pioneers from Australia and New Zealand. Spes is mostly habited by Indians and Pax by Latins (South of Europe and South America). All those european names come from the Aquila continent which is a whole continent dedicated to the army, with academies, research facilities and garrisons. All the names are european because this is the part of the world that is well known for its wars and its military leaders. Rommel, Clausewitz and the like are all european, yes, but the inhabitants are mostly Indians, Oceanians or South Americans.
And yes, Varuna is mostly Malaysians and Polynesians (as the primary languages are Tamil, Malay and Malayalam).

Don't confuse Giraldez paintjob with the world Gutier created.

    1. No it is most definetly not. PanO is Indian, Brazilian, Australian, European, Indonesian, New Zealander etc. It is a melting pot united by ultra-capitalism. There is no nationality or pigmentation, just your bank account ;) .

    2. They can't have that fancy lhost body. It is ridiculously expensive only the ~5% can afford it, the rest have either have to participate in the Religion lottery (hence the power of neo-vatican church and MO's existence) or in the military (where they get a ressurection IF they are KIA).

People get nazi vibe from this, because NKAH was pretty clearly designed to be a radical nationalist group, and in Western culture circle such groups are almost always tied to far-right ideology, especially fascism. The truth is that you can of course be a nationalist without being white supremacist; look no further than the recent pogroms of Muslims by nationalist Hindu groups, the Rohingya massacres in Myanmar, or various African conflicts. While their roots are often religious or tribal, they're also intertwined with nationalism, either as its root cause, or its tool.

It's also fully possible, and even probable, that in the future there will be groups advocating dismantling multi-ethnic society and returning to the "natural" state, in which every ethnic group has its own space (with some having none at all and getting purged, as usual). NKAH doesn't read like one of those, but such people are there somewhere in the Infinityverse.

That's selling the virus of racism and hatred short. It's not idiocy. It's cynical political intellectuals who manipulate those disenfranchised (poor, jobless and others who see themselves as direct victims of the democratic system) into becoming radicalized and direct them against made up "enemies" (nowadays LGBTQ, Muslims, immigrants, used to be Jews, non-believers, wrong-believers e.g. Kathars, etc.).

It's easy to hate the neonazi and direct your efforts at them. It's much harder to see the wealthy politician pulling the neonazi's strings and cut those strings effectively. We see this first hand in many countries, unfortunately even those with a history that theoretically should've prevented this, like Poland.

Dunno, they feel like clear-cut nordic nazis stockpiling weapons for race war.

I don't think they are massively out of place - a hundred years on a remote frozen planet living in relative luxury thanks to "hyperpower" standard of living can breed spoiled people. Right now you see insane people in first world countries, after generations of melting pot process and good education repeating insane theories about Jews from 19th century or getting into old school phrenology. I can imagine 25th century rednecks out of boredom organize through Mayanet, pretend to be trve nordic Vikings and blame everything on some kind of (((them))) who control PanO.

It is strange that the second character for Svarlaheima in a row is an ex-nazi. Is it special forces or post WWII US space program? lol

    > be Polish
    > be from a country devastated by Nazis
    > be from a country that has tons and tons of extreme-right and actual neonazis
    > be from a country where the government uses an all-out Orwellian propaganda with the state owned TV
    > be blind to the existence of Nazi tropes in fiction
    > complain when other people, from other countries, recognize those tropes as Nazi
    > consider those people "silly westerians" (also, it's "westerners", ffs)
    > unironically use a 1984 Orwellian reference of "thoughtcrime"
    > consider people recognizing the existence of Nazi tropes in fiction as them "jumping on the first thoughtcrime"

I'm... not really shocked. There's way too many such people here.

So mayby I just understand the threat and stakes, and not think that calling "nazi" everyone I don't like is a good idea ? (especially at so insignificant topic and place).

If their lore is all that takes to call someone nazi then I dont think eudcation is problem on that side. "Nazi" and "facists" term are over used right now. Everyone that has strong conservative opinions is getting called one of them. Being nationalist doesnt make you nazi. There are many other elements in nazism and nationalism is only one of them. Signifcant, yes but not the only one.

Svalarheima is one planet. Divided between two countries that constantly fight with each other. It isnt odd that such movement was created there. Why wouldnt? They are in constant threat form Yu Jing.

I would say that Cadia is pretty divided nowadays.
But as we all know that humans when threatened become open for new relations and experiances.

There are two sides to that coin; some people are throwing the terms "nazi" or "fascist" around without discrimination and thus make it effectively useless, while on the other hand various fascist groups use this very argument to hide behind: "we're not fascists, we're just honest nationalists! So much for the tolerant left!" But that's too much of a real life discussion ;)

@fatherboxx you're right, I forgot about this piece of Uma's background. Yeah, it's much less ambiguous.

Sure, but usually problem is that those who shout "nazis" the loudest do have a particular bearden (eventually long haired) man on T-Shirts. So yeah.

    As usual "it's complicated".

I wonder if all those communist/dictatorship parts in Nomads faction also spark so much heated debate or they are already within Overton Window (that's probably rhetoric question).

Once again. They are PanO's ultra nationalist promoting PanO's moral and racial superiority. Is PanO full of white people? No. Is Svalarheima full of white people? No. Just because majority of PanO population on Sval is from nordic countries doesnt mean NKaH is about white supremacy. It would go against whole idea of them being PanO nationalists.

The vikings would probably do a facepalm should they see what their "descendants" are up to. It's like those people who use wolf symbolism everywhere, while having little to no idea about actual wolves :P

    So very much this.

Not sure what is going here but do we have to put race in everything? This is just a game played with characters or people who are not real, (IMO) I thank it would be better if we keep the real world out of our games and just enjoy our games for what they are.
