Sometimes i like a combi hospitaller. Like when he is the dude bringing my hospitaller haris together.

I do have to say there are times i do use him even when dragging along the BS and hmg, would i prefer he have something much nicer like a shock marksman? Absolutely but a burst 4 combi will do

 

I would just like some variety from combi, shotgun, spitfire mantra that hits PanO so hard.

 

True. Maybe we'll see it elsewhere? Or the skills will make simple weapons more fun to use.

 

I wouldn't be opposed to a light shotgun being given out to our troopers a bit more (none of this combi+lsg nonsense though)

 

If shottys go to direct templates that wouldnt be the worst thing to have combi+light shotgun. It does mean PanO get a ton of direct templates suddenly. However, it doesnt fix the monotony of PanO design particularly when it comes to HI. And they were just starting to show signs of understanding that.

Always felt like combi rifles on heavy infantry(especially anything S5) should be treated more as 'sidearms' and be shoulder mounted for designs myself.

Drop Bears as default for Bolts, Panzerfausts on Aquila Guard, Swiss with rocket packs strapped to their ass, Uhlans that fire Auxilia, etc.

As cool as fancy CC weapons are... you need the whole CC package to make it work well. I mean look at the reverend healer... it's got an EXP CC weapon and no one is afraid of getting chopped in half by that profile.

 

Well, when you're a TAG or a CC18-21 guy with MA2 or less, you don't want to CC her just because there is a good chance you fuck it up and die just after that. Sure it's dumb to go in CC with a Reverend healer but it's also risky to challenge her if you're just a bit better than her in CC. Shoot her, it's safer.

It got my attention as well. I strongly suspect we'll be seeing a comeback of fast HI in N4.
